Laser cutting a business card: In this video we create a wooden NFC business card with an epoxy inlay. The card contains a NFC chip with contact details or a website information. If you put it close to a phone it will show the contact details or open a website.

Seems like a cool project. Am I correct in assuming the epoxy is almost paper thin?

Cant you make it thinner? 2mm is way to thick. I saw somwone that swlls nfc wood cards that are only 0.8mm

I would say roughly 1-2 mm thickness

I think it's rather 2 mm in total. 😉

I would guess it's 1.5 to 2mm - but it should work with any thickness

It’s working quite well. I have added a bit more finish to make it more durable - other that that it holds up very well.
