Hello Everyone,
In this video I will be sharing my process for creating my Princess Peach Dress! I recently saw the trailer for the new Mario Bros Movie and decided to make a Princess Peach inspired dress using my Good or Evil Dress pattern. The pattern can be found in my Etsy Shop - KittyJBerry.
I love Princess Peach, and was so excited to make something so very pink and frilly and fabulous! All my favorite things! Now I know Princess Peach has money, so I wanted to use lots of pretty lace to decorate her pink dress. I also wanted to layer the lace for an opulent look, while using the same lace throughout the dress so that is felt harmonious. And I am very pleased with how the dress came together.

To complete the outfits, I made a brooch, crown and earrings using items from the Euro Shop (Dollar Store). I also added white boots, white gloves, a petticoat and a pannier for extra volume in the skirt.
Materials for Princess Peach:
5 meters of pink brocade fabric
60 cm of light pink cotton for lining
7 meters of embroidered eyelet border which is about 6.5 cm wide
14 meters of light pink tulle lace which is about 9 cm wide
15 meters of light pink lace pink lace border which is about 1.5 cm wide
15 meters of vintage bright pink lace band which is about 1 cm wide (I think I ended up only using 11 meters)
I also used a pink zipper that is 60 cm long
Matching thread
And some leftover rigilene boning, about 3 meters worth
For accessories I used: jewel stickers in blue red and gold, a crown hair clip, earrings, super glue, and gold paint.
You may also want to consider purchasing a hook and eye for the top of the zipper, and chalk.
