Not always fan of how you do things, but I will say you are to be deeply credited for making your own joy without spending tons of money. The little things and being grateful. You have your act together and a good marriage. Makes you the richest people of all.

Two more projects. Enclose the sides underneath the house and deck to keep the critters out. They love nesting next to a heat source. Second, take the bedroom window out and replace it with a sliding door so you can go directly in and out of the hot tub into a warm bedroom!

That's the ticket! Just think- snow falling whisper quiet, a couple of adult beverages, and a warm fire inside.... that's livin' right! Hugs from Arkansas

I have a outdoor Yacuzzi as well since 10 years. From the beginning we installed (Buyed) a handheld there. Now I am 66 years old and my both knees are damaged. So this handheld was one of the best decision we had made. I can only recomment this to you. Greetings from Germany.

Niiiice. Can you find flagstone in your area? I mean the free kind in the wild. I'd put down flagstone or a concrete patio over by the hot tub heater and put a grill. You could cook and have drinks while people soaked. 😋

Place a small pergola over the pool. This way they will not receive the sun in front of them in the summer. And wooden floor to the area that is needed. Greetings from Israel.

It will be a bit of a struggle to use once it is consistently below freezing. Most conventional hot tubs are run 24/7 so the that is not possible here off grid.

I’m not sure how well the metal will keep the critters out when all they have to do is walk under the deck lol Looks good though

It will have to be winterized once the Temps are consistently below freezing. Only way to have a hot tub in winter is to have full time operation and heat......this will work 75% of the time

They are on, I just bypassed all the air lines so the water stays warm. Only water pushing around so the cold air doesn't inject into the water and cool it off so much. 😊

It would be better in a shed that is insulated with heaters inside

I am surprised... if ya are having fun, then yer a supposed to go broke for a month just saving for it... I am truly happy for you kids. For some reason, love outweighs money, but given a choice.... I sure would like to research how much unhappy I would be at being stinking rich. I do remember some of my unhappy days of being wealthy and yet its only a taste of how unhappy you are when you lose your health.
