Hi! I have this mold and I’ve had issues with the Rapid set “cement all” cracking! Anyone else? I think it’s because we live in Texas and we have our window unit cranked so it is possibly drying out too fast?? It’s funny because it doesn’t happen every pour. It only happens in certain molds and not others. Thanks for all the great info!

Great video and I love the green shade you achieve. One comment I have is I notice you add the coat after you remove the pot from the mold. And in several forum they said that you need to wait for 28 day till the concrete cured completely. Also minwax coat can handle up to 120F as per minwax sheet is this sufficient fro candles

Hi! I have tested out waiting for different lengths of time before applying sealant and usually 30 min - 1 hour is good for me. I haven't seen any other difference waiting longer. I believe that may be more for concrete flooring or countertops that have a larger surface. For the temp, yes I use soy wax which has a lower temp of melting than paraffin wax. So for me personally this works, that's why I always say do your own research and testing just in case :) just in case you use any other materials than I do. Thanks for watching, I hope this was helpful :)

Hii💛, You totally inspired me to start making concrete jars for plants and candles, but one problem I live in Europe and unfortunately I don't have access to the CEMENTALL concrete. So I tried to find something similar, but all the concrete has rocks in which doesn't give you that smooth texture and if I only use cement that obviously is not going to be strong enough. And there is also Portland cement which I also read about that it's not going to be strong enough. Do you maybe know another brand that works well or maybe did I buy the wrong type of concrete. Would love to hear from you😊!

Hi! Thanks for watching. I have not made the concrete mixture before however I've had a lot of followers ask for me to do a video on this so I will try to figure out how to make a concrete mix and hopefully I'll be able to post a video soon about it!

I use ratio 1 cup of cement to 2 cups sand, I wait 24 hrs before de-moulding. I love this mould. I live in England

@@alisoncoomber3698 thanks for this reply. Do you use big grains of sand or very fine sand. This will help me

I’m just now using this mold. I’m really confused on the amount of cement all you are using. Is the 88 ozs water and all. I tried it that way this morning and still have way to much left over. Help???

Hi! The measurement is only the cement all :) if you have a solo cup, I scoop about 3 cups in the bowl if that helps!

Ok, I used 5. But, that weighed 88 ozs. I’m going to make another one and try the 3 cups instead of weighting it. Thank you!
