When my daughter was three we bought a doll house kit. My husband built the house and made a beautiful cabinet with a lock to keep it in. I painted it and did some rooms in wallpaper (gift paper). My best friend and l built the furniture which was pressed into sheets of thin wood. For things like bathroom fixtures we went to a MINIATURES EXHIBITION. Historically people used doll houses to teach their daughters how to keep house. Some Royals and Aristocrats had a small replica of their castle/mansion on display in their homes. Many adults enjoy miniatures and build elaborate houses complete with electricity and even water flow.

So cute! My cat Frizzy was MIA this morning - not sleeping in any of her usual spots. But then you started talking about/to Baguette and she magically appeared. I think she has a little kitty crush on Baguette! Frizzy is also a chaos demon, so they have that in common.

It is so fun. I was even envisioning making a few more of different heights. It would be like a mini candelabra set!

I'm really drawn to miniatures, think it was love of the book series The Borrowers, when I was a kid. I like the little pillow, perfect. And, of course must have a mini spell candle!

I've been using air dry clay for all sorts of creations but have I ever thought of making a cushion? NO! And now on to making my own cushions for the library nook I finished not long ago 😊 Thanks for the inspo ❤❤❤ All three miniatures are awesome!! OMG the little lighter!! eeeeep!! I have a shadow box full of useless minis. I never know what to do with them. Gave them to my nephew when he was young but I think he donated them all. If I still had them I would ship them to you. I think there are some you would appreciate 😂❤
