This will be a game changer for many people. I have looked for a animatronic kit for a while. Having basic parts that can be printed and assembled to make a variety of animatronic mechanisms is a huge leap forward for makers. Get a stash of motors, bearings, nuts , bolts and screws along with printed parts to make an awesome kit. Modern day erector set for those of us, old timers, who grew up on erector set.

You have 100% nailed my intention with the comparison to mechano. I think a ton of different components that can recombined to the hearts content will allow people who lack the technical knowledge or the want to learn a program the ability to cobble together a working mechanism that is easily repairable will be awesome. I’m looking forward to including these parts into my own builds well into the future. Thanks for the kind words!

I found my best results were in petg, 1.2mm walls, gyroid infill. It made a super strong build that I think will stall the motor before hitting the break point. Regardless, have fun it really is an easy system to put together. Thanks for watching!

Brilliant! Thank you, Samhain!!-And did you also make the wooden inlay for the table? I would not be surprised if you did!🎉😂✌️

Lol! This time I did not build the table, I found it as a very worn out and tired table on Facebook marketplace for $100. I loved the inlay so I purchased it and refinished the whole thing and now have a beautiful new coffee table!

Great work. The mechanism is called a “slider crank”. How long have you run it for? I worry a bit about bearing movement in the connecting rod arm. I also sent you a message on Halloween Forum.

Hey Doc, I replied to you on halloween forum with a long response, so I apologize. I ran the mechanism with zero issues for about 2 hours with the only issue the motor having a weird squeak on worm drive on the downward load stroke.
