I'm going to be throwing up some more designs in the next bit. I just have to temper my enthusiasm! Thanks for watch Cindy, and thanks for the heads up about the black screen issues! I usually check it after uploading, but today I forgot and of course it had to be the time it snuck by! lol.

This technique is addictive, I actually am using it on this weeks video again to add some detail to a build that would have before been a pain and very time consuming. Thanks for watching @mykonine6095

Now THIS is how to make a sign!👏👏👏👏😅I’m procrastinating on finishing my Halloween sign because, somehow, I kept making it bigger and bigger and now it’s 12 feet long!🤪

LOL! Fraidy, you change your design every year and sometimes I wonder where you manage to store all your creations! But 12' long! Where on earth is it going? What is your theme this year?

It's an all-encompassing, and conveniently vague🤭 "Sideshow and House of Horrors."😆 You're right! I do need some space.🙄 Luckily, I mostly repurpose everything. 😉🤞@@SamhainPropworks

You and I always seem to line up on projects. We just started working on a sign post for Alice in Wonderland. I kicked this video over to my student is currently creating the project.

My text drawing / painting skills are near zero, so this I'm keen to try this. Xylene purchased this morning. Just need to print the sheets on the laser printer at work. :)

It works so well it almost feels like cheating. It makes doing a lot of fun little projects or set pieces so easy and fun. I warned everyone when I did it on the Ouija board that it was not going to be the last time I would use this trick. lol. Make sure to print extras and experiment as getting the Xylene right! Thanks for watching daShare :)

@@SamhainPropworks I gave this a go today, but not a lot of toner transferred to the wood, so the text is somewhat pale. I rubbed the paper fairly hard, but maybe I used too much Xylene ?

@@daShare If the wood is not sanded, you will run into a ton of issues. Also too much xylene can cause issues as well, start with a very light amount and work up. The final thing is also make sure you are just using plain bond paper, no fancy gloss or thicker stock. Hope this helps :)

You could attach all three pieces of paper together by cutting them to size and then taping above and below the text.

I have done that before, but I like to lift the paper frequently to check transfer and sadly when they are all stuck together it makes it a bit difficult :) Though if you get really good at this, I'm sure sticking the paper together will work as well :). Thanks for watching Cheapinvite :)

Will this work the same with color toner, or just black?

My friend tried it with decent results, but the colour does washout somewhat. The best effect is with solid black though. Thanks for watching greg!
