You don't have to drill it at all . It comes easy if you horizontally install screw driver in that one brake drum hall and hit hummer it should loosen and then just twist it to remove.

Pretty much came here to see if I'm going to have to drill out the plate to get to the inner tube - This is the right answer folks! Came off with a metal bar in one of the holes and a few hammer blows.

Cant wait for the next one! I dont understand why someone would dislike this? Lol

They have lead (Pb) thumb. It's heavy so it tends to droop down.

Maybe people Dislike it because the creator doesn’t know what he’s doing. You don’t need to drill holes. SMH. Plus the voice grates my ears. (I’m not downvoting though. Just leaving it neutral)

How did you get the wheel to separate so easily? I can't get mine to separate into two pieces

Yeah you could remove that brake drum hammer or counter clock with a long screwdriver and it unscrews off!

Any suggestion on where to find the rear tire for decent price? Just scored an E300 for $15 (bad batteries) but the rear tire has worn out a bit so plan to replace the rear tire for this scooter.

Try Harbor Freight or ebay. Or just swap the back tire to the front and vice versa. $15 for an E300 is a nice score you got there. It's a very well made scooter. I like the E300 because it has a freewheel sprocket. I have owned many brushed motor scooter but rarely do they have freewheel sprocket.

I found that a similar tire for wheelbarrows is available at hardware outlets. Maybe that’s why OP suggests harbor freight. I know this is old, I’m just replying in case other people are looking for replacement tires and see this

Getting the drum apart is not as easy as it is on video,,, no bolt still can't seperate

You did not have to drill holes on the brake drum. You could easily take it off with a hose 4 in clamp.

Problem is, I don't want to take it off. It's not easy to take it off either (for obvious reason: it's the brake).

Okay right from the git go your fuckt. You can swing the brake housing down after your gear chain is disengaged. Then remember that your working with tires like an auto mechanics shop would. The tires have wires in the wheel so you gotta use lube and the exact tire size or its not gonna fit just fine. 3.00-4 is your size. Don't duck it up after buying one or you can do it all over again.
