This is such a BAMF move to have it printing right beside you as you intro it. Bro IDK if I have the chops to build this but by god ima try. SO FREAKING COOL.

Super glad you used 2020 Extrusion. Not only can I start with the bones of my ender but getting parts on amazon is super cheap and if i want more/better thing I can always order from misumi.

pre-baking shrink into part designs isn't my first choice, instead I'd guide users to utilize the XY shrinkage function in their slicers. I do 99.3% for ABS and 99.8% for PLA I derived mine from shrinkage coefficients of the material properties, and left them on the conservative side, has worked well thus far for most anything I print. Some ABS mixtures shrink more than others, ones with glass fiber will shrink less, so it's more a material property, not a part property. I understand why for simplification though, and mad respect for all these designs you keep pumping out!

Super cool! I like the look and it seems speedy. I will say it's crazy coincidental that Matt The Printing Nerd released his video on THE 100, his super fast printer, just an hour before this video. Given the cost of his printer, I think you'll have to find some ways to get cost down to be competitive. Yours does have the designed enclosure advantage. I'm happy to see both new designs and I'm not knocking you at all. Love any innovation in the space. Keep going!

The 100 is inspired by my Rook and this Panda printer is made to print ABS also which the 100 is not. They are different printers

@@Rolohaun That's super cool that he built off of your design! Definitely not trying to knock you like I said and the ability to print ABS is big for sure. Very different machines!

It looks pretty amazing tbh going to be a hard choice for my next build between this, a 100 or a micron 180. I really like the idea of using the least amount of rails possible. Keeps the build cost down

I think the choice is easy. This one uses 2020. The Voron zero will be moving away from 1515. With this one you can at least start with the bones of an ender 3. The other printers done seem to be worth it at all. The 100 look finicky as hell and the Micron 180 is 1515 and is similar to a voron 0. Very happy to see this printer!

Nice build! I built my corexy printer also with v-slot wheels on the Z axis; - 1 motor is driving the z axis ; 4 lead screws connected with belt. - Only 4 v-slot wheels (with a v-groove!) are necessary: They are mounted at a 45 degree angle to ride on the inner edge of the alu profile, each pushing the bed to the center of the printer. Never saw such a stable bed 😊

Good job! I've come to the same conclusion for bambu hotends. I use them exclusively in my Voron 0.2 and 2.4's now. I actually posted a design on "printables" where I converted an afterburner to use bambu hotend recently.

What a coincidence! I am currently also developing a corexy 3d printer that uses v-wheels for z similar to your design but without the springs. I am just using using eccentric nuts for tensioning.

Darn it, I haven't even finished my other projects and now I want this one too, LOL! Nice job sir, learned a lot of interesting tidbits from watching this, especially about those Bambu hot ends, had no idea they were that cheap. I'd love a small printer that can bang out ABS+ printer parts, and this fits the bill. As long as I can use sparkle ABS+ from Sparta3d to build it, I'm putting this on "the list". 🙂 Cheers from Ottawa!
