Do a little research on turning vanes for the fan ducts. I ran into the same issue with a 90 degree bend on an active heating setup. Adding a couple turning vanes and extending them all the way to the exit made the air exit evenly instead of all rushing toward the top edge.

The parts in which I think you tackled well that make this printer stand out the implementation of a sturdy frame with your corner brackets and the belt separation which i believe adds more rigidity to the print head. Bambu went opposite and did long rail separation between the top and bottom, you went long belt separation which should help just as much but im guessing made it a little harder to design parts. Would love to know your thoughts and your decision on certain things like this.

yes I wanted a good belt separation to support the weight of the DD extruder better and also the toolhead, I think support has high and low as possible helps. I swear I changed the belt path on this printer 3 times while designing it. I defiantly want to bring the same design elements to the full size Panda.

@@Rolohaun It will be interesting to see how it holds up. Im guessing belt tension needs to be really good otherwise you would have a skew and potentially put uneven pressure on the ball bearings in the linear rail. Just my thoughts, you probably put way more thought into that part than i did.

@@BrianVoelker corexy belt tension is pretty even so it should be ok. I never thought about it much but MGN9 is pretty robust for this size.

How would you compare the bambu hotend to the ceramic v6 or volcano hotends out there now?

Bambu hotend is the cheapest for the money, weather is it a clone on ali express or genuine it's a great deal and enough flow for 8 minute speed benchies without issues

@@BrianVoelker Over 40k on X, much less on Y. X can do around 100k if requested but E motor can't keep up and I prefer to keep a 3:1 ratio between X and Y accel since that's the ratio of "peak without over smoothing" I use for outer perimeters.
