DIY GLOW-IN-THE-DARK, WITCHES POTION TUMBLER: Halloween epoxy drip tumbler, with glitters and micas

For this tutorial, we'll be creating a glow in the dark, drip tumbler using epoxy resin , CCDIY Nice n' Thick, Mica Powders, glitter, and flatback faux pearls.
I believe we may have found the originator of the flatback pearls! In the video, I asked if you guys could help me find the maker who used the pearls, and you delivered! The person I remember seeing was not Sandra Gellasch from Sandy’s Organized Chaos, but upon looking her up, she posted her pearl tumbler waaaaay before the one I saw!

Hey Fam! I neglected to mention that I have an inkjet printer, and printed my potion label onto Hayes Clear Waterslide for Inkjet. If you use the same you’ll need to seal your image, like I did in the video, with a clear sealer til glossy. If you use a Laser printer, you won’t have to seal it. (Luckyyyyyyy 😂) Have fun!!! ❤️

Hi hi! Need quick advice. Do you need a specific type of Inkjet printer for waterslides? If so, can you let me know?

@@cassanovana I don’t think so! I use a cheap (at the time) HP printer that I bought a few years ago for $50 on Amazon. Printers have gone way up, but any inkjet would do. I’m saving for a laser though, no sealing necessary with a laser printer!

Checked to be sure, but so far Sandra’s is the first I’ve seen! She posted her tumbler last summer, and the maker I saw posted shortly after, because my original design for this was posted in early August of 2020, so I currently have Sandra as the original creator with the pearls. Thank you SO much! 😊❤️
The person who I think you saw use the flat back pearls is Sandy by Sandy's Chaotic Chaos. She did her Halloween tumbler with the potions label and pearls last yr.

Thank you so much for all your amazing designs and tutorials. Any suggestions on getting the glow in the dark vinyl to lay flat? I have cut and attempted multiple times and the center lays flat but the outside will not. Thanks!

Hi! thank you so much! I use my x-acto knife to cut slits in the sides to help it lay flat, if I’m having trouble.

Absolutely LOVED this Tutorial. Your tumblers are amazing. Did you have to activate the glow micas with a uv light to get the glow?

Can you help me i ordered vivid glow vinyl i have the same cup as you plus same sized same image ur using and i cant for the life of me get it to lay flat on my cup i tried ur way of applying it with no luck

Hi! Try using your x-acto knife to cut small slits so it will lay flat. The waterslide will cover any slits you make! Good luck!

@@VMDDesigns i gave up i waisted 2 whole sheets trying to do it lol so what i did was use stencil circle and added glow powder and white paint and just did the circle idk how its going to come out but well see 😆
