You need to use a lot more of the nice and thick, I also use quick coat epoxy for all my drips

I have seen people just add a little paint color to their mod podge instead of having to spray paint the cup with 2 colors, if u color the modpodge u can still get the base color and use less glitter

This is great!!!! You can add a LOT of the Nice and Thick.. no worries 😉. With it without it, if it’s running past where you want it to just flip the cup upside down for a while. I personally like the longer drips. Even all the way down looks good 👌

I will give Nice n Thick another try. Thanks for the advice. Some how I love to do the drips past midnight and by the time im ready to call it a day I let the cup sit but this time it went past the bottom whoopsy lol

Very cute! Can I ask why you used the site vinyl under the water slide? Why didn’t you just use white water slide paper? Is their an actual reason or is this just what you prefer?

Also I may be wrong but I think I just add the nice and thick till you get the consistency you want. But I love your drips they are still perfect

Thank you for the compliment. I am solo far from being perfect. If I could give you an advice it would be to try it out. We all mess up but hey that's the beauty of it. No cups are perfect but they are all unique.

🙈 I did see it as a child but it was not one of my favorite. My brother in the other hand loved it.

A hack I saw on another channel is to use acrylic paint as your adhesive for the glitter if your doing more than one color I tried it today and it works amazing 😻

This cup is really great. Good job! How were you able to get the vinyl cut in the shape of the water slide?

I think your drips look great!!! I've seen other popular KZreadrs do drips and they are so thick and chunky it doesn't look good. Yours looks like a candle. I never wanted to try the drip cups before but now I do. Thank you ❤️

AMAZING!!!! Everything you did to create this look just made this tumbler so unique and awesome!!! I absolutely love the glitter stripes in both directions! The Wicked Witch is Bomb!!! The vinyl behind the waterslide image was such a smart idea!!! I am completely new to this whole concept and have managed to pull my hubby into wanting to create mugs too because it looks soooo fun and also relaxing!!! Now we need to make a list and order everything! We Subscribed and will be checking out your products and videos too! And, we LOVE the glow-n-the-dark powder too!!! Thank You So Much!!!

Theres not much to it. I used to prep my tumblers by sanding with a 220 grit sand paper and cleaned them with alcohol. But now I simply stopped. I have done several cups without prepping just spray painting white and to this day I have had no issue.

I have been working on this for a few days. I picked a different picture and i tried to pink a different purple glitter but i think i have the same one. I may add some green at the bottom too, so that it will look similar but not the same.

I noticed that you said you spray Sealed the black glitter before moving onto the white. How did you only spray the black and not get it on the empty white spaces? Or did you just spray all around?

I sprayed the entire cup. You can apply a couple coats of sealer and you will not damage the empty space. Once it has dried you will go over the empty space with mod podge and it wont affect the white glitter outcome.

If you want the thicker drips use a lil more nice and thick you want it like brownie batter when you start doing the drips

@@GlitteryCrystals I used about 9 mica spoons to 30 ml and about 20 mins later I had nice drips wish I could show you

@@barbmiller1059 how big are the spoons. I used about 15 ml and used roughly 13 of the exacto knife scoops. I added the rest behind camera. But some how it just doesnt work for me. What epoxy do you use? I have used CCDIY and ProMarine this time

@@GlitteryCrystals I will send you pictures it is like a little square shovel reminds me of a baby spoon but a little smaller, I found add the mix till it’s thick and holds to the rim with a lil movement

Do you have a video on how to cut the waterslide and vinyl? I have this same image I’m working with but I’m having a hard time getting the image to cut like yours.

If you go to my White Sally's Tumbler video you will see all the steps I take to cut the waterslide. Also, print your waterslide but dont close the cricut window cause that will create an uneven cut later. You basically have to send image to print, then seal the image while keeping the window open. Right after the waterslide is fully dry then go to the next step and cut the image. kzread.info/dash/bejne/c55-tsxpfMuWnag.html

A tip instead of having to do 2 layers of black glitter.. mix black acrylic paint into your mod podge, then paint on. 🙂

How far up did you put the tape at the bottom? Or how big do each of the bottom sections need to be?

Here’s another TIP. Color your glue to your glitter color. That beats trying to spray painting it different colors.

So I’ve noticed in other videos people will use almost half ofThe jar of their Apoxsee thickener. To be honest I really don’t like thick drips I think it looks tacky. I think your drip on this cup is more realistic end it looks really nice

Could you thinly epoxy over the image and then do the drips after that?

Yes you can. If you do that you will protect your image even more.

How long do you wait after you epoxy the cup the first time? Before you add the drip?

You wait until it has cured. It depends on your room temperature and how quickly the epoxy is curing, but I would say 12 hours. Or overnight.

@@gabbytovar4095 it can be semi gloss or gloss. You can use any brand as long as its a sealer and not adhesive. I stick with rust oleum because it has worked for me. But yes you can use mod podge sealer spray.
