Yes! I teach 8-12 year olds and we're learning basic sewing, braids, weaving and Macrame. :-)

Drew when I'm having a crappy day all I have to do is turn on ur channel and ur spirit and personality instantly cheer me!! I love ur youtubes - keep them coming!!!

You do the best DIY projects love the paper towel holder the best maybe because I was around in the 70. Lol✌️

Love the headboard! It is great just how you made it, and I can also imagine it made with a variety of straps and colors, and even variations on the weave. It could be made with black going vertically and white horizontally - or any two colors - for a checkerboard look. It could be made in a herringbone weave. It could be made with wide cotton straps for a boho look. It's good as a headboard or as a decorative piece.

You could also make it with the cording used for the first project.

Loved it all Drew ! Great fun for us older people with loadsa time on our hands and not much dexterity, nor much access to power tools! Not much bother too, but very very useful and pretty, beginners DIY kind of. And very, very relaxing and fulfilling at the end of the day, I imagine. My daughter is coming to crash at ours for a few months before her fellowship takes her away elsewhere, so maybe her room can do with a temporary fix like this made by her mum!

The towel hack is adorable😊🌸 I never thought of that, hmm it would be a good idea for curtains as well. The headboard is gorgeous too, the color and tones of the bedding combined😍.

I like weaving projects because they're a great way to use small pieces from other projects. The final result is like a little memory quilt of all the beautiful things you've created! :-)

Loved the headboard idea..😍 also, if u put a foam behind it and secure it with some scrap fabric..it would become a super soft board..

I love that headboard! I have been looking for a simple yet chic idea for a headboard that I could DIY and this is definitely what I’m going with!

An awesome easy alternative to the wood frame is to just buy a artist canvas, you can even leave the fabric on as your first layer!

The metal cutting guide is a mitre box :) just like how you cut mitres on a chop saw or use a mitre saw, it's helpful for a small hand saw/craft saw. They have bigger versions for bigger saws

Love the headboard. I think this process would be great on a chair cushion

I wish I had this video when I was in college. Lol. Anywho, college students! Unless your professor explicitly says that you NEED your book on the first day, WAIT TO BUY YOUR BOOKS! I say this because sometimes you can get an older edition of the book at lot cheaper, get some used, or your library may have your book available to reserve. Ebooks are typically cheaper, so if you can use them, you should. Get a planner, take your syllabi, and mark every assignment and test at the start of the semester. This helps you keep track of every assignment. If you can, always bring a few snacks, especially if you’re going to be on campus for a long time. If you’re staying in dorms, try to avoid studying where you sleep. Find a nice quiet spot and use that place for homework and studying. The separation between your resting place and your studying place is important.

For the headboard, you should have cut it with a rotary cutter. For me I use it just like an exacto only for material. So great!

Love the terrazzo cork board so much, and the headboard is ingenious. I might have chosen to weave the shorter strands of faux leather for the headboard instead of the longer ones, might have been easier and probably would be easier for a larger headboard. Love the message center with the book bin so much I'm going to have to try it, but I bet if the bin had been placed flush with the bottom of the board, it could have stood up on its own without having to lean against the wall. All great projects as usual from you! 👍💖
