Hello Everyone,
In this video I will be sharing my process for making a Regency Dress that is inspired by some of the dresses Daphne Bridgerton and Kate Sharma wear. I wanted to make a dress something like Sophie Beckett might wear, a lovely twirly silver ballgown. In this video I am using the Circle Skirt pattern from my 'Mix and Match Regency Dress Pattern' to create this dress, but I have videos linked below showing how I make other skirt styles! The Circle Skirt version certainly has the fullest and most dramatic skirt of the 4 skirt variations offered in my Mix and Match Regency Dress Pattern, but it is the most challenging to finish. Because it is a full circle skirt, it will need to hang, and be especially trimmed and hemmed. So please keep this in mind, and decide if you are up for the challenge!
In addition to the Circle Skirt this dress also featured lined Fitted Sleeves and a bodice with 2 Darts. You can find pattern pieces for the Fitted Sleeves and 2 Dart Bodice also in my Mix and Match Regency Dress Pattern.

7 meters of poly silver crinkle satin
1/2 meter of plain white cotton for interlining
35 cm zipper
matching thread
2 silver floral Appliqués
I have worn this dress over a push-up bra and stockings. However you could choose to go the more historical route and wear it over Stays and a Chemise. Below are links to my videos for Stays and a Chemise.
