My favorite color right now is bright yellow. I live in the NW and our winters are pretty much grey, so the yellow just warms up my mood and keeps me going until the sun really goes shine.

My favorite color is green, and I’ve gone through phases with it. For a while, I really loved mint green, then lime green, and now I’m really loving darker, richer, foresty and emerald greens. But I’m also absolutely obsessed with the like, 70’s green/yellow/orange/brown color combo right now, especially for interior design! 🥰💚

I moved to California a year and a half ago because my mom had Stage 4 esophageal cancer. We wanted to be close to my siblings because we knew it was terminal. Mom passed away just over a year ago now and I have begun to change the look of the apartment. I’m into beachy themed decor so my “it” color is a watery but light blue with bone white that is wind worn. Sherwin Williams Calming Coast collection #6477 Tidewater is the color. So beautiful. Chair is great! I’m not into bold colors right now. I was in the past, now I want peace.

Aw, so sorry to hear about your mom. 💜💜💜I’ve been thinking about decor and how meaningful it can be to move us through things like this. Death, divorces, unexpected life events can all put you into you into a different physical space that is hard to know what to do with. But I totally get the peace thing. Funny, a few years back I was doing all quiet pastels and now I want almost neon around me. I’m sure in a few years that will change too. It’s so interesting how our tastes evolve. That color looks so pretty, btw!

I’m obsessed with shades of green and grey. Maybe because I live in the Pacific Northwest.

Ahh, the kitty is so realistic. I just repainted my studio (office/craft/music room) and it is called Tahini. This is the color I am liking at the moment. Enjoyed this transformation.

I’m so glad I went a little darker. And I personally consider pink a neutral because it belongs EVERYWHERE.

I thought she might too. Hah. Not gonna lie she did step in some paint in the ground, but we got her wiped up quickly. I will say don’t be scared! The paint dries quite quickly, and you can go over any mistakes!
