@@ScarfaceLittlebee-mj2ch Layman terms but it’s basically the way “everything” is going to sound using this specific accessory, so very bassy, very bright or neutral. Think of it like the way a same picture taken on different phones can look very saturated or more plain depending on the camera.

@@guybrushtwood I don't think anyone is wearing 490's, Elis (I think it's Elis) is wearing HD820's a notoriously AWFUL closed back headphone. That being said Elis is certainly the audio expert of the group, I think they got the 820's half a decade ago in a sponsored video.

Dude Andrew, you were so spot on with the weed whacking thing. You have to basically keep the buds with transparency and noise canceling completely off to even get through my yard

i stopped wireless charging stuff after watching some videos about the power losses i could plop my devices onto wireless chargers all the time or i just charge them with a cable for like 10-20 minutes and im good to go i got so used to wireless charging i forgot just how fast stuff charges with an actual cable

Yeah well thats a given. Wireless charging has never claimed to be better than wired charging, its just more for convenience.

For anyone wondering about the new Beats Studio Pro, I got them on sale for $179 on Amazon for Mother’s Day. So be on the lookout for those sales because they’re cheaper than the Solo4’s

3:30 I get the same screeching sound on the left earcup of my XM4s whenever I am on a plane that is either taking off or landing. Usually just turning it off and on again works though

Beats was acquired primarily for the streaming service (which became Apple Music). The hardware was an afterthought.

Minute 3:00 when they start talking about the screech, I have had that happen with Airpods Pro and Galaxy buds as well, I believe this is an unknown/unaccounted for things in most ears buds

Could y'all recommend an XL tips for Apple AirPods Pro 2?Thx.

I purchased the 1More S30 on ear buds. Hooks for a strong hold and they sound good on calls. Being on ear, the bass is good up to about 50%, but I only use it while I'm driving clients so the music is always low.

I've had the Bose ones for a month now, I use it mostly at work it's perfect for work, I literally don't have to get tapped on my shoulder anymore. My main issue was that none of them sat in my ear well enough and finally this seemed different enough to give it a try and it is the best.

I have both Ear 1 and Ear 2. Ear 1 had an issue where first time I pull it out of the case it would not connect, I have to put the buds back and pull out again. Design was cool though. Ear 2 was good. Don't know what's going on with the line up now 😅

Audio signature is the tunning of the drivers. So Trebble heavy, or bass heavy. It is just the only thing I have heard that thing called. The signature is the sound curve of the product by default.

The curvy sound wave that we see in graphs is a frequency response. I think sound signature is just a colloquial term used to talk about the general audio traits of a device.

@@JoeNokers 100%, colloquial or not it is a very common term used all the time. IMO that makes it common vernacular for people and especially audiophiles. I don't blame him for not knowing, there are tons of words many don't know. You can't know it until you hear it. No matter its commonality.

my left ear one bud has a broken battery, it will connect when its in the case but instantly shuts off when taken out.

the fact im considering the yellow ones just because there are yellow isn’t a ringing endorsement of the airpods pro. i need brilliant anc; i want the world to sound like a library

I use my Bose ultra open earbuds daily and the biggest complaint I have is the basic click to pause feature almost never works in either bud. Why??

Having 1 earbud randomly stop charging/working isn't just a problem from Nothing. I had that with Jabra elite 85t and with Seinnheiser Momentum True Wireless 3

I gave my air pods pro(usb c) to my wife.. bought beats fit pro because of the wing tips.. I had wings that I got from Amazon for the air pods but I always had to carry the little pouch which was annoying

My only issue with air pods are the quality. I have to buy new ones every 14-16 months. Love them. Don’t mind the price (I just get the regular ones) but good lord lol 16 months is the longest I’ve gotten before issues started. But I use them daily so I get my money out of them

The breath in transparency mode is a really smart and funny choice! From my experience Nothing Ear 2 are extremely good for the price and easily comparable with Aipods that costs double the price!

Bummer to hear that the Sticks are killed. Samsung killed the Buds Live too. The Bose ones look decent but I wish the options for headphones that don't go in your ear canal were a bigger share of the market. Maybe bone conduction options are replacing it, but I don't need amazing sound quality when I'm out and about, I want situational awareness. Guess I'm gonna stock up on Buds Live lol.

I had those Beats on ear and they hurt your ears especially if you wear glasses. Great sound but they broke after a year. I got some LG over ear they aren’t the best but they link to my phone and to my work computer so that’s convenient. And they work while charging.

My Pixel Buds A are currently dying. The right one won't charge to 100% and discharges much quicker than the left. It might not be the battery, but it still means that I have to replace them soon.

Be careful with those earbuds while mowing. If they don't specifically state they protect your hearing, they don't. I realized after a couple years that my Bose Quiet Comforts are noise canceling, but not hearing protective. I probably fucked my hearing up a good bit by using those. Get proper hearing protection earmuffs and wear those over your earbuds.

@@Dre_jr Specifically whilst lawn mowing they said. I assume they have a petrol mower. The ANC doesnt actually prevent sound waves (and hearing damage) from reaching your ear, they just cancel out those frequency with opposing sound waves. So it can be dangerous in damaging environments because your brain won't "hear" the damaging volume levels. The real solution here though is to get an electric mower, no noise, no fumes. Assuming they dont need a ride on or something.

You can tell they're a bit out of depth when it comes to audio. Those looking for real good takes should watch proper headphone and iem reviewers, and see how they talk about sound and frequency response

What happened to the other title?

Walking dog, baby outside while listening to an audiobook or podcast are where bose are the best. I work in a hospital and sometimes need peaceful music and these help me out. Feel like the downwfall would be the flexible part. Doesn't look like it will last, so frustraded i didn't get geeksquad warranty.

I'm using the Huawei Freeclips, and they are extremely comfortable, great sound (considering they're open style) and a lot cheaper than the Bose ones. I haven't compared them, so I can't judge, but they're worth giving a try. (I have the Sony donut ones, and Shokz Ooenruns to compare to, and the Freeclips are much better in my opinion.)

I can't give nothing ears a second chance knowing how horrible my experience was with the ears(1). I didn't have a single bug, DC, or anything with the Oppo one in one year of usage which says a lot, especially for the same price.

Beats Solo 4 are now $150 anywhere.

These guys get new earbuds almost every year so its understandable they dont get the point of the Fairbuds, which is fine, its their job to keep up with the times. But most people keep their devices till they kick the bucket, batteries are consumable so making the batteries replaceable vastly extendes their lifespan, i plan on getting them when my WF1000XM3s kick the bucket, which also have really easy to replace batteries

I still love my Samsung Buds Pro 2, part of that may be because I use all Samsung.... but I really enjoy using them.

I get the same screeching sound on my air pods, very weird!!!

i have the sony wxm4 headphones, the ANC was great, but at some point there was a natural buildup of earwax, bc im a human once the internal mic has buildup, it does that SCREECHING noise and its incredibly PAINFULLY loud, i might have hearing perma dmg from it........ i tried to clean it out, followed all the yt tutorials but nothing worked. sony wants $90 plus shipping both ways to fix it. ANC is on by default every single time you turn power on the headphones and you CANT change the default setting, so every time i put them on i have to toggle off ANC also, i absolutely HATE Speak To Chat and Passthrough modethe only way to disable it? you must disable ALL touch controls.................. why is that a problem? i never want to turn it on and its rly ez to accidentally turn it on using touch controls its all or nothing these headphones sound great but the software FKING SUCKS and its an easy fix but sony wont do it, they just DO NOT CARE

Tried Nothing Ear (2), one died in the first 30 days. Tried Sony WF-1000XM5, connection issues ffs. Got Apple AirPods Pro 2, works a treat with Nothing Phone (2).

Airpods pro 2 are ~400AUD, they compete with iems like the timeless and Kato, which are ~285AUD. I don't think its fair to take the best wireless IEM and compare it to the worst value wired iems. Airpods 2 are great value for a wirless IEM, but there is still more value (in terms of raw audio enjoyment) to be found in wires for now.

@@JoeNokers Retail price here is 250 for airpods pro 2 but regularly on sale for like 190 on amazon. I just checked too, it's 190 right now. The Airpods pro 2 hangs with the samsung buds pro, buds pro 2, and akg n200. And he's only tested a small handful of true wireless. You picked 2 iems out of like hundreds. Now factor in noise canceling, transparency, microphone, tracking, and other features. It's almost a no brainer. Now factor in quality. It's all chinese made, but apple has top tier quality control. I've personally had issues with my moondrop unit right out of box. The quality issues I've read from the timeless reviews weren't pretty either so that purchase didn't happen. I'm not against iems, it was just replying to the guy in podcast that said airpods pros sucked. My mains iems are sony n3 and z1r.

Beats Flex are better products for those who got tired of chasing any brand buds that easily fall out of ears.

I'm not sure why you like these buds. The nothing 2's have poor battery life and the sound quality is either flatwhen loud or too low when rich. The case is also annoying. This is compared to the lg tone t90q which is a little more pricy and a far better product. Only thing I don't like on my lg was the silicone tips and controls are a little worse

Best sounding headphones or iems? No. Best sounding wireless earbuds? (which is what they meant), not entirely a bad take. It’s preference at the end of the day.
