Yes Newsies!! The dancing is just so incredible in this show, the performers are all amazing! So good to see them in this medley!

I love Spot Conlon. Also I just remembered that Katherine asks the newsies why they're all scared of Brooklyn. Delightful.

this medley, at least, didn’t have the same electricity of the broadway newsies medleys i’ve seen. that said, live performances are very tricky (audio and shaky camera wasn’t their fault) and they’re definitely all super talented still! love the brooklyn girlsies. (:

most of the performances that night didn't sound as great as they normally so there was definitely mic and audio issues, when its in person and at their own theatre its an amazing production

It’s an awards show, which means they’re coming off a one or two performance day, doing a medley they probably learned just a few days prior, on an unfamiliar stage.

Just saw the show live in London and this medley is so flat compared to the actual show. In person it is electric. The whole show blew me away but especially the dancing.

This medley really doesn't do the show justice.... amazing in person

Anyone else notice how bad the recorded audio here was? The dancing was amazing, but it was kind of overshadowed by how bad the singing sounded. Audio engineers messed up

As a techie myself, I respect that you didn’t just immediately attack the performers for “bad singing” like a lot of standard theatre goers would. Techies do have a very important job for singers sounding good, but if the tech people don’t do a great job it can be very detrimental to any performance

It's embarrassing how much talent there is in that cast...... like okay they sing AND Dance ?????? Djeeeeezzzz WAW........

Have you seen the full London production? The chereo is outstanding! I caught the US tour but this production is honestly next level. This is just a taster! (Though I do miss the flip at the end of seize the day)

That dancing is just spectacular. Can't believe I have never managed to see this show.

I love that all the Brooklyn Newsies are girls, and that Newsies are scared of the Brooklyn GIRLS! It adds so much more and I love it.

This was great, but did they really have to move the camera so much? Made it hard to follow the choreography

Why do I live in the US right now??! My favorite show of all time😭😭 not gonna stop my script for the Broadway revival. Ngl though I wish they had made all newsie groups co-ed rather than having Brooklyn girlboss its way onstage. Just a personal opinion, but I would have liked to see more girls in the Manhattan newsies. Maybe even as prominent as Crutchie.

A newsies medley without Santa Fe??

It makes me laugh how people are so judgemental about this new production without having gone to see it from start to finish. newsies has been my favourite show since I saw it 10 years ago on Broadway. I admit I was a little nervous that the new production would not live up to the original. However, I can safely say that this production is incredible. What they achieve in the space they perform in is thrilling and exciting for those in the audience. I mean, I’ve never seen a show that has had three standing ovations before the end of the first act, especially not on press night, but that is exactly what happened and continues to happen night after night. To suggest that Matt Cole has stolen the dance routines from the original choreographer is just hilarious. I feel they are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. Matt Cole has as much right as anyone else to use a pirouette or any other dance move he wants. The new orchestration of seize the day is nothing short of genius and so is the choreography. But you would know that if you went to see it.

fr! so what if the choreography is similar to the broadway one?? it’s literally the same show. they can’t change the dance style. If they stray so far in the choreography, people will still complain and say “it’s not the same anymore!!”

This was chaotic. They seemed like they were yelling more than singing.

​@@wanda9812Definitely the Oliver's fault I watched it last week and it was AMAZING, people stood up to clap in a song BEFORE intermission, I've never seen people do that before the finale.

This performance is excellent.🙂😲😀😁😁😆😆😅

The very genteel unenthusiastic clapping from some people at the end is definitely the highlight of this clip.
