Disney's Castaway Cay! Tour, Beaches, BBQ & Saying Goodbye | Silver Anniversary at Sea Day 7
Disney's private island in the Bahamas is Castaway Cay and in this video, we're going to show you what the island has to offer! On your next Disney Cruise, MAKE SURE you get off of the ship at Castaway Cay because it will be the highlight of your entire cruise! There are beaches (both family and adults only), characters, BBQ and tons of different activities to fill your day with. You can encounter stingrays, go snorkeling, ride bikes, parasail and more ALL on this one island! We absolutely love Castaway Cay and can't wait to go back soon. After an awesome time there, we packed up our room and put our luggages outside for Disney to take off the ship the following morning. We had one final dinner at Royal Court and this menu featured lobster tail, which we both thought was fantastic. We saw one last show in the Walt Disney Theater which was Disney's Believe (not a dry eye in the house) before heading back to the lobby atrium for the final farewell. On the final night of your cruise, the characters will do a "Sea Ya Real Soon" show, which will be your last chance to see them before you disembark the following morning. Castaway Cay is my favorite day of the cruise. I seek out itineraries where Castaway is not the last day. It’s such a bummer having to pack after a such a relaxing day.

The best part of the cruise is Castaway Cay! I hate the end of the cruise it always makes me cry 😭 especially the see you real soon with the Characters 😢. Thank you so much for sharing your experience very enjoyable to watch. Now I cannot wait for mine the end of September.

Doing our 9th DCL cruise this summer on the Fantasy for the first time. We have cruised on the Magic and Dream many times. Any DCL cruise IMO is nothing short of magical. Can't wait to sail the Fantasy real soon. Can you remind me of your servers names....will ask for them for my upcoming cruise!

That’s right! Serenity Bay did have steak, we just didn’t get any this time!

Another great video Matt!! The last day of any Disney Cruise is never fun. Love, castaway, cay, one of my favorite destinations in the Bahamas by far. Love Pelican’s Plunge, love Cookies BBQ and I love Serenity Bay, but with all cruises the last day is always tough. I never want to get off a Disney Cruise. Fortunately, my wife and I are scheduled to be on the Disney Wish for Father’s Day weekend to celebrate the 25 year silver anniversary at sea. Can’t wait, looking forward to all the food, fun and festivities. Thank you for sharing your Disney Fantasy adventure with us. 👍🏼

Thank you for watching! We’re glad to hear that! Our day to day camera is a Canon R6 with an RF 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. We’ve also used our Sony ZV-1 at points in this series (anything outside of the ship that wasn’t on the GoPro).

It didn’t! Plenty of room at the family beaches and Serenity Bay. If you’re planning on getting a good spot at Serenity Bay, get there early otherwise you’ll have a longer walk to and from the entrance to the beach. Other than that, no crowd issues at all! Character lines weren’t too long, from what we saw, but we didn’t meet any on the island this time.
