Once you see the movie, you’ll see why everyone wanted Dr. Facilier in the ride. That’s why a lot of people would have rather had a retelling of the movie instead of a new side story.
i miss the hercules and xena attraction. it was so much fun! Jaws is probably the one that killed the park when it left.

Definitely missing a good percentage of the production yesterday along with the audio path..
Some of the audio was definitely off, but I believe they were only missing 2 floats in total. That’s what one of the Team Members told us on the way out.
I don’t understand why Bruce wasn’t an animatronic that could shift left/right and chomp his jaws. Same with Slimer…he could’ve been chewing the hotdogs.
I feel like there's more water in Tiana's then there was in Splash - I dont remember getting drenched on Splash as many times as it seems like you do on Tiana's. Is it an illusion that there's more water on the ride or did you feel that way too? Looking forward to my next trip to try to ride it myself! Thanks for always taking us along for your days!

The Lost Continent area really is sad to walk through now, it’s almost useless but I feel like they’re super hesitant to demolish it completely because it’ll become the forgotten continent 😢
It definitely needs a refresh. Fingers crossed the rumors come to fruition and it gets a refurb in the next year or two 🤞🏻
Disney believes they have a monopoly on our market . That’s why the international parks look so much better , they don’t need to innovate here in their minds because people pay no matter what …in reality Epic is that innovated theme park and I hope it pushes them on their butt, but I don’t want Universal to win , I want competition I want Disney to actually fight back and Seaworld / BG to take chunks out the Thrill seeker category to force Universal to do something.
Competition is the best thing for all of us as the consumers! Like I mentioned in the video, Universal at its best and Disney at its best is what we should all be hoping for. We’ll see what Disney announces at D23 this year. As for the international parks, Disney only owns Paris fully. Tokyo is 100% owned by the Oriental Land Company and Hong Kong/Shanghai are majority owned by the Chinese government.
@@MattAndAlexVlogs Interesting, I had no idea regarding the ownership of international parks, I just always assumed it had the same structure as our domestic ones. I’m excited for D23 as well because they can’t just let this go unanswered and as a Floridan it’s getting sad to see just how out of touch Disney has become with the DW complex and it’s about time someone in corporate recognizes it and does something but we will see 🤷🏻♂️

Thanks for your honest review, just one question, you said that 1 Band would be enough for your party as long as they stay together, how does it work on the Lighting Lane or park acceses? If I purchase just one and assign to my daughter, can the 3 of us in my family get into the lighting lanes? (With a single scan). Thanks for your help 😊
One band cannot be assigned to more than one person. When we said one MagicBand+ would be enough for your party, we meant that in order to use the new features of the band (the light up effects, the bounty hunter game, etc), it wouldn’t be necessary to have everyone buy their own. If you wanted to save money, one person can buy the MagicBand+ and everyone else can have just regular MagicBands to use for lightning lanes, etc.

Jaws did not open with the park.
Yes it did. It shut down 2 months later to fix all the issues it had but it did originally open on June 7, 1990.
I snuck into Universal Studios in 1993/94. We came in through the backside near metro west entrance and made our way back to the psycho house from behind. We had to climb down into a giant trench that we didn't realize was the Jaws ride until we saw the sharks at the bottom on their mechanical harnesses came out on the other side of the lake pass through a brown fence straight into some restrooms and came out wiping our hands with paper towels like we've been there the whole day we rode every single ride that day and then slept in the McDonald's play tubes😂
Replacing all their intellectual property was a mistake I don't see any reason to go to Epic universe besides the Mario and Donkey Kong ride

It's called a moving walkway not a moving standing platform. And an escalator escalates the speed of climbing steps, it's not an elevating staircase for standing on, people here in the US are just lazy.

@TrePacoutas duh everywhere around the world has lazy people but there are people dont want to walk due to pain or even disabilities that impair them. Its also made for wheelchair users and elderly people. Its efficiency. Its technology that makes it easier for people who can walk long distances

awesome video! part 1 was great too! Makes me miss so many things that was there like Jaws, which i luckily got to ride. If theres anything id love to be brought back on a more permanent bases, it would be Back to the Future, the Beetlejuice show and Ghostbusters...they are iconic across many generations so i think they could quite easily be permanent attractions/shows. ive been to orlando and universal twice, first time was 1997 and then 2008, so its changed ALOT since my last visit. Id LOVE to see a video on past characters that were at the parks over the year's, walk around characters or meet and greets..i remember my first visit in 97 and have memories of seeing the Ninja Turtles doing meet and greets in the NYC area. Your intro of the old universal add too featured alot of old stars like charlie chaplin and the marx brothers...i never saw those and has a marx bro fan, id love to see info on characters like that who used to be at the park and when they stopped having them....again last time i went they used to have lucille ball walking round doing a show, marilyn monroe in a car driving up and down which i think still was happening.
