I enjoyed your review of this cruise. We were also on the same cruise as you were. No Castaway Cay was disappointing; we had a cabana booked for the day. You were not kidding about the rocking and swaying of the ship. We were on deck 13 and you sure could feel the movement. We had a few days at WDW after the cruise and most of that was a constant rain as well. Despite it all, we still had a great time.

Yes, it was a bummer we had never been to Castaway Cay because it was our first Disney cruise, but hopefully we'll go on another Disney cruise in the next couple of years. The ship was gorgeous, and loved the Merrytime stuff, and felt they had a lot to do but, also was so busy at times. It wasn't relaxing, but it was fun. We even had Rainforest, but just felt like a rush trying to fit in the day sometimes....but it was a nice little break. I've done a mix of short and longer, and this really made me think I'd rather go on longer cruises to have more time to relax and do things. Especially with a Disney cruise. Thanks for sharing your time on the same cruise! Nice seeing some of the same and different things you two did.

Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! From a relaxation standpoint, the longer cruises are our favorite. We feel like on the 4 nighters, right when you’re settling in is when it’s time to disembark.

I think we went to the 3 night cruise just before yours. We fortunately had perfect weather! Sorry you guys missed out on castaway.

On our recent Alaskan videos the ship was VERY rocky LOL It was hard to sleep through the night with creaking noises. But even though that went on for you, it looked like you still enjoyed yourselves. That’s awesome Santa was there. And you both are correct…what’s with that balcony where the characters say Hello from afar?

This cruise was December 2023!

I do agree with you the Wish is my least favorite Disney ship. Too bad they couldn’t just keep the same design like Fantasy or Dream and just make it bigger like at least 180,000 tons I mean the Wish is so small compared to all other cruise lines newer ships. But all you need to know is the person who designed it had never been on a cruise ship so that really does explain it I just don’t understand Disney doubting down and building another one exactly like it.

While it’s not our favorite, we really did find it beautiful and enjoyed it overall! Honestly, we thought we weren’t going to like it at all, but we were pleasantly surprised. Although I can see if you’re a family with strollers, older folks, etc how certain things, like the elevator situation, could be much more problematic for you. Appreciate you watching and leaving a comment!

Hi Matt, you need to have Alex film you or put the camera on a tripod because on a tv, your face is just huge. It is very imposing. The arm’s distance length is too close. You’re doing an excellent job on the channel. Keep it up!

@@CampbellzS0up What exactly negative thing did I say about Matt? How silly. I made no comment about Matt at all, excepting to say that he is “doing an excellent job…” What I was commentating about was in reference to his framing of the shot. I stand by my comment completely, as a former Art Director in the movie business in Hollywood, this is my specialty. Instead of being offended about a comment not made to you, you should take the time to read comments thoroughly in order to understand them properly.
