Catching up on the Disney cruise videos! You all cruise a lot like us. So great to have girls old enough to do things on their own. But we too love family time! Your content and editing just continues to be great! I absolutely love your sharing between the girls' adventures and the parents' adventures! As a Mom I would have been, in my words 'freaking out,' about my girl on her own in the storm but a crazy bike ride through the rain to find my girl laughing at the adventure and ready for fun when the storm was over would be a dream! We just got off the Fantasy for HOTHS. We got rained on at Castaway Cay as well. Glad you and Carrie got to eat at Cookies this time around though rushed. You guys are adventurous and very positive. We love watching your vlogs.

❤It’s great that you made it a great visit to Castaway. Biking in the rain is so much fun! What great memories! Your girls are at such great ages to hang out with but also to leave to do their own thing. It’s a different kind of cruising for sure but wonderful that everyone gets to do their own thing but also come together as a unit.

We LOVE that we can all do fun things, together and separately when we cruise.

As a person on their around 17th Disney cruise I gotta tell you after you hit platinum the free deserts you get are so nice (pearl and platinum get free deserts sometimes)

@@AdventuresinMillerland lol well you know the Bahama’s in the Summer. Rain is almost a given in the afternoons so you gotta get off early and go back early. 100% agree with you on the food quality. That’s why we left Castaway early this time and had lunch at Festival of Foods 😁 We booked the Beach Club at Perfect Day in March, can’t wait to see Royal’s Island!

Well, we are one for two with rain in the afternoon on castaway. Honestly, we wouldn’t have done it any different. We loved the empty ship in the morning, eating some Mickey churro waffles, standing in a line with a crowd getting off the ship. The rain just made it a different kind of fun 😊 can’t wait to hear about the beach club on coco cay!

I’m going to have to get that book for Ella! She also always has a book in her hand so I’m always looking for recommendations! Thanks Lindsey! I love it when it rains at Castaway. Idk why 😂 As always, love your vlogs and I’m glad to see your subscriber count climbing!

That’s weird…We were on the exact same sailing as you guys and were told by a cast member explicitly that there were no plans for Churro Mickey Waffles…I was so hyped for that. Now I feel stupid for having not requested them at our 1923 experience that Tuesday.

We wouldn’t have known unless we had heard of someone else requesting them in the past. DCL typically only serves them on longer cruise in the buffet area. We asked not knowing if they could do it but were so glad they could! Next time?!

@@AdventuresinMillerland I’ll keep that in mind. Our next intended trip will be on the Fantasy in November 2024, so it shouldn’t be as big of a deal. I wish we’d known you were on the boat at the same time as us though. My wife’s been trying to spot if we got filmed by coincidence in the vlogs. So far no dice, but she’s still looking. Lol I think Carrie might have spotted her Orange Bird costume, but don’t quote me on that; we seemed to have the same rotational dining schedule as you as well.

It is actually my plan for cast away day to wait a little while. We have done castaway twice and we live it, but we really just like to snorkle, relax, have a drink, and do the water slides. We want to stay onboard and try the aquamouse and maybe have lunch onboard if possible. The BBQ is fine, but not our favorite meal. Do you know if there is lunch available onboard?

We really liked doing it like this. Just keep in mind that the afternoon is when the storms usually hit on castaway! 😂 mostly just during hurricane season though.

Thanks! The showers are in the senses spa area. All you have to do is ask the senses spa staff when you enter and they will point out where to go. Deck 5 is where senses is located (I believe)

Cookies on the island are so much better than on the ship. Not as good as the ones Carrie and our girls make at home though 😊
