So happy I found your channel! My husband and I are Disney cruisers and I must applaud how you show actual excursions and full menus of food! We always order a ton of food and desserts to try them all. I just had a baby girl and we are going to take her on her first Disney cruise in September. We love seeing how much fun you have as a family and your videos give us so much good information for our future cruises! ❤

What you mentioned about perspective is so true. Even when you apply to seeing people living their lives around you. From a distance it might look like their life is beautiful and perfect but when you actually talk with them, they might be needing a friend. They might be struggling. And we can be there for them, care for them, if we only take time to talk with them.

So, so true! That mindset towards others definitely transcends all cultures. Ours needs more of that. It’s too easy to assume ideas about others until you ask questions with humility and compassion. Thanks for pointing that out!!

I’ve been watching your past cruise vlogs and just love your energy and honesty. What a fun filled day!! Tortola is a beautiful place. We did this itinerary in 2019 and loved it. I’d like to try the zip lining at some point if we return. My son and I did a tour and beach stay which was gorgeous. My daughter and late husband did a pirate snorkel excursion that they enjoyed. It’s awesome to have so many options that work for everyone.

I share the same sentiment about the view of the island from a distance. It applies for many of the ports but specially the Caribbean’s whom have been hit heavily but their sprits are super strong. I’ve been craving Shanghaied Noodle Stir-fry from the menu but keep forgetting to get it lol mental 📝 note! Pirate night even though it might sound childish in the end is that family ambiance that makes it uncomfortably fun! See ya all in St Thomas 👋🏻

Very true! Pirate night was fun, even though it’s a bit more for the littles. The later night stuff on the pool deck was super fun for all of us though 😄

We’ve been in spots like that before. It’s still a bit anxiety inducing, but they drive it everyday. We still felt safe but on edge, literally!

So Fun I loved Pirate Night with the fireworks on the Disney Wish! I had no idea it was such a big thing. What a fun night. We are looking at maybe going on the Fantasy during Christmas.

I usually watch on my phone but we got a new TV for our bedroom and I feel like it was a totally different viewing experience! Lol My 12 year old son watched with me and he wants to try ziplining when we are in Tortola! You made a good point about the local people of Tortola and I think it is so good for kids to travel and see the culture. Also, that caramel cheesecake dessert looks amazing!

@@AdventuresinMillerland We were diverted to San Juan, PR (the ship needed a part for a minor repair). Like they say, ANY place on a Disney cruise is a good place to be!

On our first DCL cruise this summer we ordered room service breakfast every day. It was the best to have coffee and a small bite delivered right when we woke up even if we still went to Cabana’s later. Glad you gave it a try!

My first cruise is coming up next month. I will be on the Disney Dream, it was supposed to be on the Wish next April but after seeing some reviews I just wasn't feeling it. Going from Miami to CC and Nassau. I am so excited about so many things.

I went with a 3 night cruise just in case I don't care for cruising for whatever reason. I sure hope I am not one of those people because it looks like an awesome lifestyle. I am a very picky eater but have decided since most of the food is included I am going to try new things. The snails were out until someone described the texture to resemble mushrooms which I love. I am also going to try cheesecake, I tried it as a kid and did not like it. Speaking of cheese I am very cheese picky but have to try the deep fried brie

We are doing the Merrytime Disney Fantasy Cruise and were hoping you could answer a couple of questions regarding the Tortola zipline excursion. How long was the drive up to the location? Where did you store your personal items during the ziplining, were there lockers available for this? How did you handle tipping since there are several guides at each platform? Thank you so much for the information!

Hope you have a great time! The drive to the zip line location was about 20 minutes I think. They have lockers, but don’t bring valuables, as the lockers are for storage but are not secure. You can tip if you would like. We didn’t tip the people there… mostly because there were so many, if I remember right, there may have been a place to tip where it got shared. Feel free to ask about that option.

I am doing this exact cruise very soon! Curious: you originally said you booked Tour to Virgin Gorda (which is what we have booked, as well). Did that excursion get cancelled, or did you just change your mind in favor of zip lining? Love this series; it is getting me so hyped! Thank you!

That’s so great! Yeah we didn’t address it in the video, but our oldest is super afraid of snakes and we saw a friends recent vlog with a snake on the beach at virgin gorda. With the possibility of that happening, that would ruin not just their day, but for all of us. After some conversation, we decided to book the zip line. That’s it! Also, we have heard that while Virgin Gorda is amazing, we’ve heard it can get frustrating waiting in long lines to get through some of the passages in the rock areas. We loved the zip lines and I’m sure VG is great too, but that’s why 👍

The snack food there is included with your cruise. The specialty coffee or cocktails are an extra cost there.
