Tiana's Bayou Adventure Opening Day! | Review, New Merchandise and POV
Tiana's Bayou Adventure is now open at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World! This is the replacement for the former Splash Mountain and is themed to Tiana and Princess and the Frog, but takes place after the events of the movie. The two ways to ride this attraction are via Virtual Queue or through purchasing Genie+. Luckily, I was able to do both so that I could ride twice in one day. This ride has been having lots of major issues with downtime during the previews that took place, but luckily for us, was only down for an hour yesterday. We also tried the new beignets, checked out the merchandise and had a fun day at Magic Kingdom.

I feel like there's more water in Tiana's then there was in Splash - I dont remember getting drenched on Splash as many times as it seems like you do on Tiana's. Is it an illusion that there's more water on the ride or did you feel that way too? Looking forward to my next trip to try to ride it myself! Thanks for always taking us along for your days!

Once you see the movie, you’ll see why everyone wanted Dr. Facilier in the ride. That’s why a lot of people would have rather had a retelling of the movie instead of a new side story.
