Building a Building is a top 10 Mickey cartoon for me. It's fluidly animated. It has a strong plot. It's pretty funny and the humor holds up today. Is that because it's a remake of a successful Oswald? Probably not. By 1933 Disney was hitting its stride in short form animation. It had other bangers that year, like The Three Little Pigs and The Mad Doctor. I think Sky Scrappers just provided a template for a good story, and they improved on it from there I guess.
