man, this brings back such good memories. I remember building a lightsaber in Disneyland at the very, very old 2007 Star Wars outlet, way before the license was officially acquired. To see the new custom sabers AND the Legacy sabers nowadays would blow my 8 year old past's mind.

My thing that I like about the Disney lightsabers is that for all the ones I would want, they are near perfect replicas. People always talk about neopixel and proffies but the “replicas” on those sites are either not accurate (not saying all Disney sabers are) or just way more expensive than the Disney alternative. It may be that I live in Florida so paying for a “smuggler” isn’t crazy extra

The Disney lightsaber hilts are great. The electronics (sound board) and blade are inferior to the neo-pixel variants, however, the majority of lightsaber displays are the hilt only anyway. I own most of the legacy lightsabers from Disney and also own some neopixel lightsabers from Korbanth and Vaders Vault. The Disney hilts look great in a hilt display.

The thing is not everyone wants the more advanced features of the pixel or proffie. I personally prefer RGB or base lit which still do have more advanced features than the Legacv or Savi hilts. A lot of people just want a hilt to turn on and swing around so simpler electronics are fine for them. Or some go for the Hasbro Force FX replicas.

Just picked up my set on Star Wars after dark night. The box is heavy and solid 👍🏼. It’s packaged well in styrofoam and a cardboard box. I would recommend either buying before leaving or dropping it off at droid depot as it’s way too heavy to carry around with you all day. The opening of the box was a treat and the sabers honestly feel great in the hands. I didn’t have the wiggle when I connected them so it may be slight manufacturing defect with some of them that have the wiggle when attached. I have them displayed attached together, but would recommend if you are going to use them it’s better with them separated. Cheers 🍻

just wanted to say thanks for the vids i had my first disney experience last month got to go to Disney world and go to Galaxy Edge managed to get 2 Savi’s workshop lightsabers (power and control and elemental nature) and Cal kestis’s lightsaber ! keep up the good work

Thank you for another great review! Looking at the prices on EBay for the single Asajj hilts, the box set is well worth the price. Single hilts of non-retired hilts are around $170. I have the other Ltd. Edition box sets including the new Ahsoka. For me, the set is worth the price and the fact they made the box look like the set gifted by Dooku is the cherry on top! Thanks again for the great content!

I just got Batuu Smuggler Kevin to send me one to Canada. After everything and the exchange rate I’m going to be poor but I am so excited!!! This and the adult Ahsoka lightsabers were all I ever wanted. Now I have too many Legacy Lightsabers. 😂

Yes, the Asajj Ventress box set is super cool. The whole box makes a great display piece. Also, since the original (single) Asajj Ventress legacy lightsabers sell for $500 apiece on Ebay, this box set was a steal at $400. Scalpers are already selling it on Ebay for over $550.

I got it the day it came out and for someone who missed out on the first release im happy i got them

I have neopixels and they’re great. However, I love the unique boxsets and the fact that they’re rare makes it even better. Great for a collector. I think that’s one thing other companies can do is work on packaging, I don’t always want a black box, give me something unique.

They’re worth it unless your Disney store purchase goes through the Pennsylvania warehouse. From Facebook, Reddit and discord, seems almost all from PA arrive damaged due to poor packaging.

With the Acolytes coming out, it would be nice to see all those lightsabers or at least some of them coming for sale

Asajj is coming back in the last season of The Bad Batch. Pretty sure that's why her sabers have been "un-retired".

I think those lightsabers are very cool but I'm disappointed in disney that they keep making legacy hilts instead of the plastic lightsaber toys i wish disney would make all the legacy hilts into toy lightsabers for people who can't afford the legacy hilts especially if they have a favorite character and they want to get the lightsaber cheap ya know, but awesome video obi-dad🐉

Hey! I was just curious if anyone else had a similar problem with their legacy luke/anakin galaxy edge lightsaber as I do. Mine, towards the top on that like protruding piece near where the blade goes jingles. Like it sounds like a screw is loose or something. It isn't a huge deal, just a nuisance more than anything. I was also just curious if that's something galaxy's edge could fix. I plan on maybe going there this summer! Thanks!

I spent £350 on my luke skywalker rotj proffie and I can honestly say that it was the best saber I have ever bought but to be honest the xenopixal v3 are absolutely amazing especially with the phone app galaxy's edge is very overrated for how poor quality they are
