  Sorry I gotta nerd out but Luke’s first lightsaber is actually his daddy’s lightsaber aka Anakin Skywalker’s saber since he’s the one who built and used it first and did all his killing younglings, genocide of Jedi, and losing and getting his body ruined by Obi-Wan with it (of course in Universe). As we all know that’s how Luke got it from Obi Wan in A New Hope. Sorry had to do it as my Star Wars nerdiness wouldn’t let me not say anything. It’s a great prop and it’ll be awesome when someone invents an a full fledged actual lightsaber that works like it does in the movies/shows. At least till some dumb ass cuts or kills himself while playing with it. 😁

  Im a little late to the party, but i didn't really understand how the fonts work since ive never owned a neopixel. Does it come defult with the anakin font? I was also wondering how accurate the smooth swing is and how bright the blade is

  It's not "average sized or small." Compared to every other sabers in production or that has ever been produced, it's huge. The length is just a little larger, but the diameter is gigantic. Have actually seen one, held it, and ignited it. Its about the size of a Red Bull can and even bigger at the T track grips. It's also not sturdy. The first thing anyone wants to do when you hold a light saber is swing it. And that is exactly what "John Doe" told me not to do. When you move it around, you can see it give way a little. If you actually were to swing it, he confirmed that it will collapse. It is basically a stand still pose prop that they have considered using on actual "Rey" and "Luke" props in their parks. Other than that, it has and will have no uses. If you want to feel like a Jedi or Sith (yes they also have a working Vader) wielding your lightsaber, this will not be your saber. That's another reason they haven't released it. There will be no market for it.

  I'm not impressed honestly. its clunky, it's too big, too fragile, the blade is too short, they probably want a fortune and a few fillings for the thing. his name should be smug instead of smoot because he appears very impressed with himself. just my opinions.

  It is a cool prop, but I think it works best on film because in order to do fight choreography they have to swap it out for another lightsaber prop.

  Not a real light saber, no one has made a real one but Hacksmith is the closest to one. That said, Disney will likely sell it for an extremely large price which will not sell well just like the Star Cruiser did and it'll go away eventually...Disney doesn't know how to handle Star Wars and has officially ruined it for me but I might still be interested in one of these sabers for the funs if the hilt wasn't so wide, it's like four inches in circumference... that's huge when most on screen sabers are less than three...or so it appears.
