Well, if Quinlan Vos was mentioned in Kenobi helping refugees and rebel sympathisers out of the planet, it would be safe to assume that Ventress also lived through the Clone Wars.

I’m sure Asajj Ventress’s yellow lightsaber in TBB is the same one from Dark Disciple. She just changed its cylindrical, straight hilt to a curved one as a way to reference her experience during the Clone Wars.

Honestly it's kind of fitting. A jedi that fell to the temptation of the darkside took her red lightsabers, and Asajj who's now started walking the "balanced path" has acquired a lightsaber crystal that reflects those who have a balanced understanding of the force but focus on the practical matters of day to day life

It's canon now that it's not the crystal that's colored, it takes its color based on the Jedi who makes it. They show how a Dark Side user does a "Force Bleed" to turn a regular Jedi lightsaber red in both the Darth Vader comic and the game Jedi Survivor.

That's the stupidest shit ever. Lightsabers take their color from crystals, not from a force user. Sariss, a dark side user, actually has a blue saber and Boc'a'seca, a twilek sith, has purple in lord Hethrirs empire reborn. Really hope you disney zombies question shit before blindly accepting.

I hope this time it's actually her own Kyber Crystal. Her last yellow lightsaber didn't really mean anything, within canon at least, as it belonged to another Jedi. I hope this time she actually connectewd with her own Kyber. Seeing Ventress is on the path between light and dark, like yellow is between green and red, I think this color would suit her very well.

It is possible that she only buried the LIGHTSABER but kept the yellow Kyber Crystal That's possible, is all I'm saying I like the lightsaber-blaster combo, like in Jedi Survivor. It's a perfect style for what they are: Jedi/Force users who are just trying to survive and using everything they have

Maybe the same kyber crystal but it definitely is a different hilt, you can find the dark disciple design on google images, its a typical shaped lightsaber with a sort of metal grate with a bunch of holes in it

@@Kraftium Which honestly wouldn't be far fetched. The most difficult part of building a new lightsaber is getting the kyber crystal. IRC most of the rest of the components to build a lightsaber are just things you can just buy from various machine shops

@@hfar_in_the_sky yeah ahsoka built her white sabers from left over scraps when she was hiding as a mechanic And got her kyber crystal from ripping it out of an inquisitors saber cause an explosion that killed the inquisitor and cracked the crystal in 2

the original hilt design for her yellow lightsaber was reused as the second half of maul’s lightsaber in season 7 of the clone wars, since the dark disciple episodes never ended up happening. I guess since it was already used they had to create a new design, and just defaulted to something similar to her old lightsabers

The creative have confirmed on twitter that Ventress' return will be explained in future projects However, I believe she still uses the same saber from Dark Disciple in The Bad Batch

Well in TCW S7 mauls fixed double bladed lightsaber uses the lightsaber of Ventress yellow lightsaber that she used in the novel Dark disciple so it’s alluded to that Maul took her lightsaber to fix his own. It’s also possible that Ventress was brought back with magic xx

I prefer her one from the book instead, "Dark Disciples" I think the design is alot more better and suits her new self.

I'm not sure about this but I think in both Legends and Canon the Jedi Order before The Phantom Menace didn't like Curved-hilt Lightsaber because those were made to fight other Lightsaber users. (I know this series takes place after the Revenge of the Sith.)

Her new lightsaber is very similar to Dooku.

I think the explanation behind Ventress’ resurrection is that she never died and Dark Disciples is no longer canon. It wouldn’t be the first time Disney Star Wars has retconned its own canon.
