Whoever came up with the idea of streaming the first 10-15 minutes of each episode is solely responsible for any money being made from Peacock TV. I hope they're well compensated for the genius idea.

That was a deliberately staged event. They had signs, and video (remember, if there is no video, it didn't happen). Police only confront when they have a significant numerical advantage. If this had escalated, the group would have had the footage to advance their cause and support their narrative.' First shot fired, Van Buren would have been in so much hot water. Lot of bullshit in this episode, but this series is written by liberal hacks, as their no fewer than three episodes painting pro-choicers as monsters demonstrate. Most of the time the series is second to none, but its dealing with anything political is predictably heavy-handed and one-sided. 1. There is NO law, terrorism law or otherwise, that says that guilt can be presumed by possessing rat poison IF you are a right-wing activist (left-wing activists presumably are exempt). 2. Administrative Code 10-303 concerns the issuance and possessions of rifles and shotguns. It says nothing about carrying guns in public places. And it's rich for cops to carry weapons of war while lecturing civilians why they can't do the same. 3. And, of course, they just had to include the obligatory potshot against Bush. The West Wing and Law & Order are NOT a good combination.

@@shane99ca So are you illiterate or just lying????? 1. It's called Plain View. You didn't pay attention at all, did you? In a plain view case, the officer is legitimately on the premises, his observation is from a legitimate vantage point, and it is immediately obvious that the evidence is contraband. Unless you are certified by any sort of governing body or agency to carry a certain amount of a particular known dangerous item or deadly substance, law enforcement has the right to detain, and or arrest you for probably cause IF they see and correctly identify anything within your property or on your person that can be considered a possible offense. A civilian found with 1 gun, 1 ounce of coke, or a few pieces of scrap metal is probably harmless....but a civilian with a whole armory, 10 kilos of coke, and a foundry of materials commonly used in pipe bombs....that's law enforcement draws the line to ask "why would a civilian be possessing this amount of dangerous material?" And if you pay attention to their words, it's because of probable cause. Any sort of person with a dangerous substance, especially if they are an ANTI-GOVERNMENT activist (they didn't say right-wing you did bud, so good job there) has more suspicion of mal-use than a non-anti government activist. Law Enforcement does this all the time to get a legitimate reason to detain a potential suspect or to enter a home without an immediate warrant. The plain view/probable cause rule applies, for example, when the officer has pulled the suspect over for a seat belt violation and sees a syringe on the passenger seat. Or when a cop goes to a house party with suspected underage drinkers and sees alcohol containers at the front door or through a public street-facing window,. 2. 10-303.1 Prohibition of the possession or disposition of assault weapons. a. It shall be unlawful for any person to possess or dispose of any assault weapon WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW YORK, except as provided in subdivision d, e or f of this section or section 10-305. 3. And what Potshot against bush??? Because they needed a more known republican political name just to link a possible suspect? They literally just took a swing at Michael Moore a few moments beforehand.
