stimmt.genauso gings mir mit den vier versionen von million miles.bei der ersten hats mich vom hocker gehauen.bei der zweiten dachte ich,die ist ja noch besser als die vorherige.dann kam die dritte und ich dachte wieder,mensch besser gehts wirklich nicht.bis ich die vierte live version gehört habe.genial.angelina ist die erste künstlerin die sich selber mehrmals covert und mich mit jedem cover umhaut.

Great reaction. Me and many others as well cry each and every time for me pretty much as I’ve lost so many in the last 6 years. This is a beautiful cathartic song whenever and for whatever loss is experienced. She is a gifted prodigy with a kind and beautiful heart. Her family has allowed and insisted on a normal a childhood as possible for her. Anything by her is usually spectacular but her originals ie “Shield” and “What is Life” are excellent also. This song is so beautiful but the fact the melody was slow down a little, make the lyrics goes just straight to your soul.

The fact that I like jazz so much is not so easy to explain. It's different and I just like it. The jazz is inside me. I feel older than I am, approx. 65 years... Besides, I always think I've experienced things before, a kind of "déjà vu", explains Angelina.

Mein deutsch ist nicht so gut: zumindest hoffe ich, dass es verständlich ist :-) Die Originalaufnahme ist viel schneller und auch sehr schön. Hier singt sie es viel langsamer. Du spürst ihren Schmerz und hörst die Geschichte. Das Lied ist traurig und auch tröstend. Meines Wissens hat sie "Always on my mind " gesungen als ihr Großvater väterlicherseits gestorben war ( Anfang 2018) , "Million Miles" wurde zum Tod ihres Großvaters mütterlicherseits geschrieben , knapp zwei Jahre später.

(It's audio only) (Now here's the info about "Million MIles") Angie started writing this song shortly after her 2nd grandpa died in Nov. 2019, during the filming of the semi finals of AGT-C, she was 13. Angie started to write this shortly after his death & recorded it in 2020 at 14, [Her 1st version of the song was her Lyric video at age 14 & she said the tears just flowed out of her as she sang it]. (Her 1st grandpa died in 2018 She did a dedication song to him "You where always on my mind). Republic Records Co-Founder and C.E.O. Monte Lipman heard her singing this song in 2020 at 14 & personally chased her down to sign her to the label for he wanted to sign her ASAP, & they did finally at the end on Aug. 2020. Angelina wrote this a few years ago when her grandfather died. But she says it is for anyone who has lost someone they love. Hallo Dustin, klasse Reaktion!!! Ich kannte die professionelle Aufnahme von dem Lied von diesem Konzert noch nicht, die Emotionen kommen da noch stärker rüber! Auch weil sie es selber geschrieben hat und sie ihre Trauer darin Audruck verleiht. Ihre Großväter sind in kurzem Abstand zueinander (2018 und 2019) verstorben, vor 4 Jahren hat sie mit dem Lied "Always on my mind" ihren Großvater mütterlicherseits geehrt, davon gibt es ein bewegendes Video. Angelina ist ein Familienmensch, sie hat dann auch 3 Tage später im Konzert von Sandefjord das Lied "I have nothing" ihrer Großmutter Mery gewidmet, die aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht mit nach Norwegen kommen konnte. Sie ist eine bekannte Künstlerin in Norwegen, von "Million Miles" gibt es auch ein Lyrik Video, in dem Bilder von ihr verarbeitet sind. Du wirst noch weitere musikalische Seiten von ihr kennen lernen, ihr Repertoire ist riesig, viel Spaß weiterhin!

@@Smaugyyy I am unable to give you any written source to back up my comment, other than refer you to comments made by others about which of Angelina's grandfathers died in 2018. So, I set out below why I hold the view I do. I have read the article in Celeb Hungry and at that time I did, so I accepted that the information that the death was of Angelina's maternal grandfather was correct. I held this belief for a very long time, and it was only when the other grandfather died in 2019, and I was corrected on comments I had made, that I began to question that the information in Celeb Hungry could be wrong. So, I analysed the information I had (a) Angelina's paternal grandparents were Swedish but may have lived in Norway, although I cannot find any evidence to verify this. Searching for information about them on several Search engines returns no information, and there have been no comments that it was they who moved to the USA when Angelina did. (b) When the family moved to America, there is evidence that Angelina and her sister Juliette, her mother, Sara, her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani, and her Uncle/Manager, Michael Astar did so. (c) There are comments that Angelina and her grandfather were active in the community in providing meals and other assistance to the poor in the Los Angeles area. (d) Andy Schnell, a knowledgeable fan of Angelina, wrote a biography of her, in which he wrote: "In November 2020, Angelina released “Million Miles” which she wrote after the passing of her beloved maternal grandfather. She dedicated the song to anyone who has ever lost a loved one." (e) Since the death of her grandfather in 2019 and the release of "Million miles" all but a few of those commenting refer to the death of her maternal grandfather. So, unless someone can point me to a source that tells me it was Angelina's Swedish grandfather moved to Los Angeles, leaving his wife behind, I’ll retain my belief that "Million miles" was Angelina's tribute to her maternal grandfather, and it was he who died in 2019.

@@alberttenfoot Albert, ok, then this is your belief, but there is not an official source. To (d), if Andy wrote this, he also could have meant the first grandpa. But he is also no official source. And there are other pages like an article by Alex Heath in easierwithpractice that state that Mery´s husband died in 2018. Of course all could be wrong. But until proven otherwise I hold up to that it was the maternal grandpa who died in 2018.

There are several young singers that are making an impact on the industry. I’m going to list my top 9, understand this is my opinion. I place Sina in a special category, she isn’t a singer but she works with several different singers, some good and some OK, and she works with several instrumentalists. Most of her tracks are her playing drums over the tracks of some very famous bands. These singers are my favorites, you may have different favorites but IMHO the future of the music industry is looking good.
