You can't help but love him though once you discover what the man behind the music is like. Yesterday he spent practically the whole day at a new school in Kazakhstan, he looked tired when he arrived but not once did he let it show and he paid full attention to every child that approached him for autographs, visited classrooms, played dombra with the children, gave motivational speeches and only laughed when he was surrounded and knocked off balance by a huge group of children. That's just one of the many, many things he does that make the Dears so proud of him.

I discovered Dimash during the pandemic lockdowns and it was his voice that helped me get through it. Then I started to discover Dimash the man, his gentle and kind soul uplifted mine. From reading other Dears comments, I know he has a similar effect on many people around the world. May Dimash have a long and blessed life.

I discovered him 6 months ago by instagram reel played the last prt of SOS oh my I kept in that reel I don’t know maybe 1 hour in repeat, ai really hocked , he really helped me through my father illness period till he passed away I was listening to him and pray for him for how he really helped me ,there is one of his specific songs ( Love is like dream) reminded me so much of my father and I really cry every time just to listen to it , I love him so much ❤

July 2019 I found him. December 2019 saw him in concert in NYC. The impact is real!!

When people have asked me what is the MOST passionate performance I've ever witnessed anywhere, this is the one. Also, not sure if you've made aware of this, but the audience from all of The Singer shows is made up of PROFESSIONALS in the music industry in China--they're not just Joe Schmoe's brought in from the street but EXTREMELY knowledgeable in their profession. (By the way, speaking of LeeQ (Wu)--the guitarist with that glorious lion's mane--when the pandemic hit a couple years later, the band LION broke up and LeeQ went on to join the rock band SHINBAND in this last year or so. In addition he composed his first solo album in 2022, including his wonderful first MV released only a few days ago.)❤👏👏👏❤

This perfornance marks the frst time I ever heard Dimash sing, and by the time he finished the first line I was devoted to him for life. That was seven years ago. I've watched this perfornance thousands of times since then (literally), and it's still making me cry as I write this. The beauty of this preformance just overwhelms me.

And... finishes with a Dimash high note. Why not!? And who else can fall to their knees mid song and pound fist on the floor and NOT look completely Over The Top?!? I have never experienced anything like Dimash. I Love That “in much culture when an artist does something crazy like this, we make a bunch of noise and act out” 😂 so true! You definitely will see that in this competition, and his concerts, but when he does performances in Russia or especially the New Wave, the culture is very different and you see many flowers, but calm clapping, I don’t know how they do it❤. Great reaction to an incredible performance, we as Dears always say, Dimash keeps getting better, but there are some older performances like this that we cling to, just fantastic!

For me is not true and is a big exaggeration that Hua is at the same level of Dimash,also because no one on the planet is at his super high level that is unattainable for everyone..Dimash is in his own league and all the others are behind him..In my opinion Hua has nothing to do with the great master and the one and only Dimash..The Boss King Angel Dimash Forever

I was obviously born on the wrong side of the world as I love the Russian audiences.🤩🤩🤩 I would be so happy in an audience where everyone is absolutely silent during the performance. Something so incredible that I could not have imagined it. A dream come true.😃🤩😊 Then after being able to hear every single nuance of the performance without distraction, then enthusiastic clapping. No standing up so I can't see anything from behind. Absolute heaven. I have rarely attended any live performances in the past 50 years, because in Canada, the crowd acts like undisciplined 8 year olds. Worse, people throw crap on stage and do many other incredibly disrespectful things.😢 Reminds me of my childhood where my mom would force me to go with my sister so she could watch a band as an underage fan. Watching your reaction it looked like you forgot to breathe for a few minutes and the look on your face was priceless. I must have watched this video about a thousand times or more in the past seven years and I still get just as emotional as if I was hearing the first time. Dimash’s voice thrills me to my core. He is a master of portraying and evoking emotions. I think he is purging negativity out of our hearts and souls. I know you had react to SOS in Slavic Bazaar before, but the crowd reaction there was nothing compared to when he sang SOS for the first time in front of 500 Chinese audience in Singer 2017. Back then the Chinese didn't know him. He was invited as a wild card competing with established singers. Some users on Weibo even made fun of him because of that. So you can imagine how gobsmacked, slack jawed they all were, hearing him singing for the first time. He received a standing ovation and became an overnight sensation because of that performance. The Singer program invited him again in 2018 as a guest and he sang his own rendition of Lionel Richie's Hello. Jessie J who was a participant for that year even stunned & amazed watching him from backstage. Later in 2019 he performed Queen Medley with Super Vocal Boys and won the first place for that episode (this video is not on KZread but you can find it on Facebook and Vimeo).

I remember in the live broadcast when Dimash was singing Hello, one of the participants said "I'm glad I joined this year, how can you all compete with him.." 😂

And that time when Lion's Jam went like ”yahoo!" When dimash sang his high note on Hello then he proudly told Hua Chenyu " he can sing higher than that" . His proud face I can't 😂😂😂

@@lukeyhemmo yes you can tell everyone was amazed and proud of him that night especially those who were on singer 2017 with him; the Lions, Tia, the music partners.. the musicians on stage and even the crews backstage (they cheered for him when he entered the room and he went and hugged some of them, remember?) Love those times ♥️

If you have't watched the competition ,2017 I am singer with English subtitles, it is very enlightening to see the other singers reacting to him, one singer especially is reacting by saying he doesn't like to follow Dimash, and he also when asked what he thought of a performance by Dimash, one word "Fierce".
