In short, Dimash was thanking the audience and the show's organizers for allowing him to perform in the show the previous year. This was done on "Singer 2018", and he was invited back to perform on Singer 2018. He was still in China because he was doing concerts and recording after his appearance on the show. They even built a state-of-the-art studio for Dimash. If you have not reacted to Dimash singing "All By Myself", and "Unforgettable Day", I really think you should, and not deny yourself two beautiful works. Not only is Dimash amazing as usual, but the orchestra and background singers are outstanding. Dimash was invited back to the I am singer comp 2018 as a guest. Apparently Lionel Ritchie’s team did not agree with Dimash singing that song so he hasn’t sung it again.

Also The Singer show didn't get use permission from any songs peformed, so a couple of right owners came after him. He can t do Opera 2 anymore bcs Vitas was pissed, and Dimash's is far better

​@@unikumkiki Yes, Celine Dion was informed of Dimash's version of All By Myself. She even told the audience at one of her concerts that there was a young singer who sang in an extraordinary way. Probably in addition to watching Dimash's performance. She was also told that Dimash is a big fan of her songs.

I am British and your English is very good. The grammar is great and written well which I can tell you is better than a lot of British people speak or write English because we have a different accent and dialect about every 20 minutes of travel in Britain. The aenglish and accent varies from village to village never mind region to region.

I don't know why because you have to study either French, German or Spanish from age 12 to 16 when I was at school and for a further 2 years if you stayed at school until 18. It would get you through a written exam but not actually speak it with any fluency and certainly not understand it when a native speaker was talking. It is maybe different nowadays with more people travelling more often but I don't know many British people who speak a second language.

@@artasium1Sometimes I feel sorry for english-speakers, that want to learn a new language. They never get the chance to practice. Everywhere they go, people switch to English. And English is also the main language worldwide (or at least in the west) in which people communicate between nations . We non-english-speakers all get exposed to so much English, that it’s easier for us to learn it. The other way around demands more effort.

I am very grateful for all the people of other languages learning english. ❤️ I have tried to learn 7 other languages over the last 40 years and failed miserably everytime. I can read some parts of them but can't make many of the sounds. I have many talents but language is not one ot them. Still stubbornly trying to learn phonetically to sing a Dimash song despite being unable to carry a note🤣 I am hoping the good singers will drown me out if I ever get to a concert.😂🤣😉🥰🇨🇦

It's not Dimash's fault that he sang this song and did it so well. It's the shows fault for not getting permission cuz of the copyright.

It’s a shame that Lionel Richie didn’t like Dimash’s version. Like, Vitas even threatened legal action if Dimash continued to sing Opera 2 which is why the only time you will hear it is on the second episode of the Singer competition.

Supposedly, when Lionel Richie heard Dimash sing “Hello” he said, “Did I write that song?”

I have never ever liked the original song but Dimash version is amazing...so emotional!

The runs are called Melismas. Rumor has it Lionel Richie's team said do not perform again. If it's true or even if it came from Lionel Richie, himself, I honestly don't know. Just another facet to factcheck.

He was invited to return for a special performance after the 2017 show. He sings in English but his accent was still pretty thick. He didn't speak Chinese yet but only a few words. When he sings "I love you" the second time in the song...he sings it in Chinese. Dimash did a phenomenal job. He always makes a cover his own while staying true to the original. There are a lot of songs that he sings that are covers, but everyone thinks that are his. Even some Kazakh songs. SOS is a cover. Almost all the songs he sings on The Singer are covers, except Unforgettable Day. That's his song, but even that song, he had changed some of the lyrics to Chinese, for the show. But another cover that you would know is All By Myself, My Heart Will Go On, He did a Queen Medley with the Super Vocal Boys, another Queen mashup on Super Shine Bros. He likes Queen. He's done some MJ covers.

Singer's statute included a rule that you weren't allowed to sing your own songs. Probably only once, and the singer chose when he wanted to do it. Everyone followed this rule, so all the songs were covers. Besides, at that time Dimash did not have many of his own songs (I know about a few composed by him, some Lukhpan, but whether he composed them at Bastau or earlier, I do not know). Kazakh folk songs and others were not his either. This was enough for the music market in his country, but when he got outside the country, he urgently needed new compositions.

Thanks for another great reaction to Dimash. He wasn't completing in 2018. He was there as a guest. Mr. Richie heard Dimash's Hello and he disapproved of Dimash to perform this song in the future. Please react to Stranger ( his original New Wave 2021) . So many reactors got copyright strikes but it's a great song. Put the bubbles, audio only, smogs, etc. on the screen please.

Daniel, when Dimash got up in the morning and went to leave his hotel room, he freaked out because there were guards outside his door for safety because the audience absolutely loved him. I can certainly understand why. He was the "wild card" and only foreigner among the Chinese acts. Wild doesn't begin to describe him. Lots of comments, so you will probably have gotten the answer you were looking for as far as Dimash's "yelling". The running of notes on a single syllable can be heard in many genres of music and it is called "melisma". In this song "Hello", Dimash gave it a middle eastern flavor.

Lionel Richie should be honored instead of banning Dimash from singing again. In American Idol he was complimented that someone sang his cover. Confused on Lionel’s reaction and banning of Dimash’s cover. Shame on LR…perhaps threatened???
