When someone like you, that loves The Fifth Element as much as you obviously do, watches this performance, the reaction is just priceless! To me that scene was loved by so many people who probably wouldn’t have ever said that they like opera, it might have been a first great exposure to something operatic, other than Bohemian Rhapsody. Fun fact: This was my first reaction to Dimash! It was 2020, at the height of COVID, I was watching the original version when I came across this cover saying "Dimash (The Best Singer of the World)". I was like "a man singing Diva Dance?" and then after I watched it six times straight, thinking "that CANNOT be his real voice!" Conclusion: I've been watching Dimash eversince!

This song was PURPOSELY written to be IMPOSSIBLE to sing, and it's quite obvious in the movie (also one of my favorite films of all time, btw😉) the female singer's voice was electronically enhanced in parts. You should check out when he did the theme song for The Power Rangers. You can actually watch his New York concert from 2019 on his channel. It was incredible. Only artist in the world I have ever gotten on a plane to go and see.

This was during his Bastau concert and definitely the best version although he does go into the whistle register when he does it as part of The Drunken Concubine. He's just announced a concert in Hong Kong on 23 December which will celebrate the 7 year anniversary of his arrival in China to take part in the show that blasted him to fame.

He performed this song on his first solo concert in Kazakhstan called Bastau in 2017. It was after he finished The Singer competition in which he also performed The Diva Dance together with another awesome Italian song Confessa by the Italian singer Adriano Celentano. The Bastau version is short but in my opinion muuuuch better. He was much more relaxed there because it was his concert and no competition. What fascinates me the most is, that he sang this song in his concert where he had already been on stage for almost 2 hours. Just unbelievabel🤯. He worked so hard for this terrific concert. I was scared at first when I saw him. He was so terribly thin. There is another jaw-dropping performance of Diva Dance. It’s called Drunken Concubine and it is from the Shanghai Spring Festival Gala in China. He sings with Li Yugang, a great Chinese Opera singer who usually plays a female in classic Peking opera. He is a very famous singer in China. The two harmonize so well together. It’s really fantastic. I love it and I’m sure you will like it, too🥰. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so demanding and commanding. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. This is legendary. I was also amazed beyond belief the first time I heard it. Even more amazing is a very blurry fan cam where he does the entire song. Another amazing reaction.👍 I also watched at least 20 times. (Okay, I admit it, I have seen this thousands of times😏😅😂) I was also shocked at how relaxed the audience was for this incredible song but it was well into the Concert.
