Dimash worked on this for 3 years. He wrote the screenplay, composed the music, sang and acted. This was a labor of love for him as he wanted to share the message of the need for peace with the world. This is a masterpiece.

Hello Daniel! Thank you for your sincere reaction! When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least! 😢 Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was walking under the overpass, also when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace, and harmony and through his many charities. He is a Legend in the making and will go down in History. This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it: This mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was created by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The boys both loved the same girl, but she loved Dimash, so the other boy grew resentful over time, started a war, using the symbol of the necklace given to him by his friend Dimash, as the crest on his army uniform. 1) Dimash, was the boy drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, is the one who saved Dimash, became the leader, and was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all affected by the war. “People are the caravan…. Life is the way”: Dimash spoke these words in Kazakh, when he found his daughter dead. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim or (Shepard or a Wise Man) at the end of the video was Dimash’s baby boy, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love, and harmony. Wow. You managed to get the story and understood the different paths the three children followed. Most of us had to watch it several times to take it all in. The singing is almost secondary to the drama unfolding. Loving your love of Dimash. I’ve been hooked since I heard him on I Am Singer 2017. Been to three overseas concerts, and booked for Budapest next May. I’m from U.K.

Me too I've been to three overseas concert (Dubai, Prague and Kuala Lumpur). My biggest regret is not being able to go to Almaty in September 2022 (too much work).I will probably go to Budapest in May.

This was absolutely supposed to be a sledgehammer to the heart. He didn't pull any punches and he didn't try to save himself either. He said afterwards that acting this role took a great deal out of him emotionally. I know that they joked on set of the MV Okay that he should have the Oscar but with this one he proved it's true. He would make an incredible actor and hopefully his latest project as voice actor for an animated Chinese film is just the first step to him taking on his first movie role.

Love Dimash in anything he sings. So talented. If you watch some of Dimash interviews he's all about peace & love in all of the world and no wars. To love and take care of the children. His first 2 concert money was donated to children's homes & hospital. When Covid fist came upon us part of his country and other places that was having a hard time getting food and supplies in he sent truck loads of supplies in. He visits the children hospital and homes all the time. Donates to schools and especially school of arts and music.

In The Story Of One Sky he composed and sang the whole soundtrack himself. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In composing, in singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. OMG he is such a phenomenal actor. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife and unborn child were also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Ohm", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches. If you want to know more about this video check out dimashnews. com Btw, Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. Thank you so much my friend for not highlighting his vocal prowess too much in this video but rather on the message. This was Dimash's primary goal when he produced this masterpiece. Too many reactors only listened to his high notes and did not really understand his message. Dimash is much more than that. Of course he has a voice out of this world but it is only his tool to achieve his primary goal, to make this world a better place. Few artists use their platform and their notoriety to send such a message. He is a huge advocate of peace, love and understanding and has spoken about this at some of his concerts, even when his English was not great, he got his message out so clearly and passionately. This amazing song and mini movie is so powerful and, you're right, needs to be seen all over the world. Unfortunately the "pipers" are those that make war and make huge monetary profits from war, so they wouldn't get this message 😕 😢 I have cried at this before, but the scene where he finds his daughter dead along with all of his family, hits even more hard after seeing the horrific scenes in Gaza right now where so many children are losing all their family members and are also being killed 💔 😢 When will mankind learn? 🙌 🙆🏻‍♂👍🌟👏 I can not be sure, but I think DQ was really screaming and crying during the scene when he held his dead daughter....as the body movement is what really happens when someone is sobbing and heaving, and the veins were popping out of his neck. I've heard him speak about his pain and anger over war, so I think he has access to a lot of real emotion for a scene like that....

Dimash seems to manage to bring everything together in every performance. whether it is the words or actions, his voice or stage presence. His ability to speak/sing in different languages, play so many instruments......I am sooooo happy I found Dimash. I am very definitely one of his 'dears'.
