When Regina discovers that her teammate Rick has been killed by a powerful and intelligent dinosaur known as the T-Rex. The player is forced to watch as Regina finds Rick's body, lying lifeless on the ground, and is overcome with grief and anger.
Later in the game, Regina discovers that the facility's chief scientist, Dr. Kirk, is responsible for the creation of the dinosaurs and has been conducting unethical experiments on humans in order to perfect his creations. Regina is forced to confront Dr. Kirk and ultimately chooses to destroy the research facility in order to prevent the spread of the dangerous technology.
Throughout the game, Regina is also haunted by the memory of her father, who was killed in a similar research accident. Her quest to uncover the truth about the facility and its experiments is motivated in part by her desire to prevent others from suffering the same fate as her father.
Overall, the story of Dino Crisis is a bleak and tragic one, full of loss and sacrifice. Despite the game's focus on action and survival, it manages to explore some heavy themes and evoke genuine emotion from the player.

Shinji Mikami is the creator of the Dino Crisis video game series, which Capcom developed and released. It combines survival horror and action-adventure elements. The story revolves around periodic outbreaks of dangerous dinosaurs in enclosed spaces, like a lab on an island. Merchandise and comic books are also available for the series.

I've always loved this theme, it gives me such a nostalgic feeling. I cannot believe that over twenty years has passed since I first heard it when I was ten. Last year I was in intensive care due COVID, my second night I was having problems breathing and very scared, I couldn't sleep. I just put this and let it flow if something happened to me, in those hard times I felt that I wanted to feel that nostalgic feeling in my heart if something happened.

so resident evil gets all the reboots and this series doesn't get any recognition, this is so unfair, honestly Dino needs a remake right now

I really loved these themes from Dino Crisis and Resident Evil. Whenever you entered these rooms, you knew you were safe...but, you also knew it was only a momentary reprieve. They all have a "You're safe..but you're not out of the woods." feeling to them.
Love this. Can't wait until Capcom remakes Dino Crisis

@@TheViralHighlight 100%! It’s reassuring that people voted it as #1. I felt like it was way more niche than that. So excited. Hopefully, they listened to us. There’s a particular atmosphere and style that I think could be really awesome in a remake, especially with the first game, though I love 2 as well.

I don't know why it but out of all the games I played the Resident Evil series and Dino crisis are the most nostalgic . I miss this series. I hope Capcom would remake it soon. They ought to know that many of us are still into dinosaurs! They could continue Dino Crisis 2 story by making a new storyline alternative to Dino Stalker, just reboot/remaster the whole thing

long time ago ever since I play this game, now I married and have been living as adults. this game is not forgotten, one of the memorable in my childhood, thank you capcom for these amazing masterpieces
It may just be me, but the Dino Crisis 1&2 safe room themes have never made me feel at ease. When I walk into a room and hear this theme, I know I'm safe, but for how long? The heartbeat-esque instrumentals (and the heartbeat itself) accompanied by the violins and electronic keyboard are a sure reminder that while you are currently safe, you are in a world with unsympathetic beasts and no sure-fire way home. (That last sentence was referring to Dino Crisis 2,

After I fell in love with the DC 1 save theme, I remember being totally curious for the DC 2 one back in the good old PSX days. When I finally reached the first save room and heard it, I found it to be a close shadow of its predecessor and just too similar. But after a while, I grew fond with it. It's more mellow in tone than DC 1 and has a feeling of its own.
