Nothing beats that feeling when you started your first human character and accepted your first quest in Northshire Abbey. You knew this was going to be good. Turns out it was the best

Timeless art indeed. I've never known a plcae that doesnt even exist can feel so much like home

If Blizzard made a VR game that was just running around Elwynn and Dun Morogh, doing trade skills, listening to the music and fighting some mobs I'd never leave

I loved the fact that they spared Elwynn during Cata. It would have crushed me to see it destroyed.

I recently recreated the cataclysm westfall ost with virtual samples. This theme as long as the entire Elwyn zone just have something extra special. Back in 2006, my room was in renovation. In order to download wow, I let the computer turned on in the middle of the room covered in plastics while workers were there. It took a full 2 weeks with an old adsl internet connexion. At midnight, the installation was finally complete. The first character was a Human Warrior. I swear I can still smell the fresh paint and the new floor tile that was there that day when I see Elwyn Forest ...

It makes me feel peace in my soul

Whenever I hear that original Elwynn Forest melody I get goosebumps. Love this so much

Hands down, favorite starting area!

I dont play WoW anymore (was a day 1 player), but still have WoW on my computer. When I start to work, I launch WoW and drop my character in goldshire on one monitor. On the other monitor I work. I just love the music and ambiance of this zone

Childhood memories!

This was amazing! I've mostly played vanilla and then classic. There are quite a few versions that I don't recognise all that well, slowed down versions and others. Does the music differ from vanilla to cataclysm?

You have killed enough and begin to slow down a bit by the river. All of a sudden, When the music kicks in, you shut your game down and delete it in order to never play it again. You realized once again nostalgia has make itself memorable and memories of the past were majestic not the game itself, you will never be able to experience azeroth again just as you did when you were a kid. Until you forget all your recent miserable attempts to catch the feelings of being a kid, you decide to not play for a second call.. Do not try to break the cycle, I tried. There is only sorrow and pain when you restrain yourself.

New is not new anymore. Vanilla elwynn was here for you for only 6 years. This one has been here for you for 14 years already. If you miss vanilla zones, it's like missing your EX, while you have a better, much more prettier wife, for much longer. Change my mind.

They changed their lifestyle in the forest. It takes a while to adapt to the omnivore diet. Eating grapes is a life changer.
