@@midwichmusic hard to say, i guess the textures for both of them suggest just the right mix of tension and release for me, like inhaling and then sighing (i'm always going back to that What Happened In This Facility one). lovely slow rhythms. ...maybe also coz i don't know the dino franchise the association feels like a fresh world for me, whereas because i love silent hill and will always go back there i've gotten very used to its sounds.

Keep going like this and you'll be hired for the remake. :)

First game is classic survival horror, 2nd is a great action game, 3rd is hot garbage to avoid and dino stalker is a solid arcade shooter, I hope Capcom bring this series back definitely worth trying.

Dino Crisis 2 is the best one imo. Replayed it several times and never got bored of it.

This is one of the few games in my entire life that I have completed at least 30 times (I am not exaggerating). This game is worth walkthrough to the credits at least once (despite its «desuetude»/age). And yes, I'm talking about Dino Crisis 2 (2000). I undoubtedly love the first part (1999), but I recommend you START with the two part.
