The song is from the French musical Starmania. When he sings 'sleep child sleep' he is kneeling over the body of his dead girlfriend. It is his last goodbye to her. The song is his dispairing cry to the Universe to take him away from this existence, it is the song of a desperately unhappy man who doesn't know why he is still alive. It is a very famous song originally sung by Daniel Balavoine (who died young in an aircrash). It was was famous again later by Gregory Lemarchal, who died young of cystic fibrosis. Dimash has made it his calling card (let's hope he lives long and prospers!)

Hello from Portugal. Dimash is a Khazak singer. He went, at the age of 5, to a prestigious school of music in his coutry. He was the youngest person to achieve that. He's now at the university concluding his PhD in musicology/composition, and has now 28 years old. He's considered by experts as the best singer/performer alive. His range is more than 7 octaves. He practices singing every day for 25 years for more than 3 hours a day. He´s a very kind, generous an humble person. In my opinion he´s also very handsome :) He sings different genrs of music, and is very proud of his country and mother tong. Many musics are sung in khazak and his live concerts are amazing. In top of that he sings in more than 14 languages and play multiple instruments! He's amazing! Sorry for my english, but I saw many comments in russian, spanish and even portuguese and I don't know if you can understand. Please continue to react to more Dimash songs. You will be surprised.

Me lleva a pensar en la voz de Dimash y el elemento terapéutico que supuestamente tiene en muchas personas. A menudo he comentado sobre la capacidad de Dimash para transmitir emociones profundas a través de su voz (incluso cuando existen barreras del idioma, Dimash parece capaz de transmitir el sentimiento vocalmente).
