Dimash Kudaibergen "The Show Must Go On" REACTION & ANALYSIS by Opera Singer/Vocal Coach

Two of the most technically proficient male singers of all time are Freddie Mercury (lead singer of Queen) and Dimash Kudaibergen. So when Dimash does a cover of a song Queen originally performed... you have to sit-up, and listen well.
Join professional opera singer Elizabeth Zharoff, as she listens to Dimash Kudaibergen for the first time, performing "The Show Must Go On" during the Singer competition in 2017.

About the rock scream - If you look at the official Queen video, Freddie does the same thing at that point in the song. He did a similar one in the Queen medley he did with the Super Vocal Boys on Singer 2019.

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than seven languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices like "Marcelito", Dimash has his own style and is the creator of the "Popera" he also has a very pleasant, humble and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, Tenor, Sopra no, against Tenor, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, whistle tone, reaching a D8 live at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from Venezuela, "Dears" Forever ❤️👍🏻 I Love You 😍

I'll leave vocal technique analysis to you, Elizabeth, since you know the subject well and I don't. I'm mostly following the *energy level* of Dimash's performances and the way he conveys emotions. His signature performance style - though occasionally he departs from it (Ogni Pietra, for example), is to start with quiet dynamics and build to a crescendo. If he feels kindly, he'll give us a denouement to let us back down gently (Passione), but if he wants to leave us hanging, he'll launch us emotionally high into the air and let us crash back to the ground on our own. This song makes me go "splat!" It's an emotional shocker. The emotional distance between quiet dynamics and crescendo is immense with Dimash. We think we've heard him ratchet up the dynamics as high as they will go, but no - he has another level beyond that, and another, and another... he makes my heart race. That isn't a good thing at my age! Freddie Mercury did that, too, but the dynamic distance Dimash travels is greater, I think. How does he manage to deliver seamless transitions between vocal techniques with no pauses to reset his vocal chords? His air is still flowing as he does it. I don't know how *anyone* can do that. You left 100,000 subscribers in the dust, Elizabeth, you're already a third of the way to the next hundred thousand. Take advantage! Your followers would like to hear *your* music, too. Cheers!

This is a really nice rendition of this song and Freddie Mercury would be Proud and Smiling! No one will Ever be Freddie but Dimash doesn't try to be as w/ all his songs, he just gives them his own unique twist (especially that last belted note!). TRO LEX version of his surname you mentioned is in Russian language, in Qazaq language his family name is spelled and pronounced as Qudaibergen or Qudaibergenuly (I don’t know which one he prefers), Q is specific K for Qazaq language.

Trolls, my guess some reactors themselves are highly jealous of Dimash. Just by watching these reactors you can see jealousy all over their face trying to find some criticism of him and then they won't cover Dimash again as when compared against themselves they can never measure up. Many are the so called vocal coaches instead of appreciation of his talent they are jealous. Not only is he better at singing he is to die for handsome..can you imagine the whole package what's not to be jealous of.

I believe that since we are not native speakers, our immersive experience of the language is mostly defined by being exposed almost exclusively to different accents. Which is the reason that people that have really "good" english are the ones that stand out. I believe that may gives us that edge. and I am basing that on absolutely nothing but my own experience in institutes :P
