Hi Matt, Dimash recently said that 2 years ago (by the time of this presentation) he did not speak "any" english. Just a handlfull of words, "my name is DImash" that's it. So to sing in an unknown language is very brave. I imagine myself singing in Kazahk 🤷‍♀️. He has improved a lot in 2 years, considering his tight schedule touring, practicing and learning songs in another 10 languages, I don't know how he finds the time to always improve what he does! He amazes me!

I discovered Dimash in 2017, but had no one to share with. So glad that others have discovered Dimash and can explain why or how he is so great. On Singer they do not use auto tune, one reason it sounds so pure. Any show from Russia, has to be auto tuned. Love your reactions. I also feel Dimash singing sounds like what Angels sound like.

Freddy sang as part of a vocal and instrumental group, the musicians sang along. Decorated the song with vocals for 4 voices (such a "fan" of voices, which in itself is very beautiful!). Уважаемая Ольга, я сделала перевод еще вчера, как всегда, из двух частей, т.к. Мэтью говорит много. Но почему-то текст не сохраняется. Вставляю. Ухожу с канала, Возвращаюсь - перевода нет. Вот и Вам я сейчас попыталась вставить текст. Но он исчезает. Я не понимаю причину. Я опубликовала перевод под другим ником "tani corcin". Вы нажмите "упорядочить", выберите "сначала новые", там увидите перевод в двух частях.

You are absolutely right. The only issue is - if he wants to be acknowledged by the western audience on a much wider scale and if he wants to be as recognizable as all these eminent artists out there selling hundreds of millions of records, he needs to improve his English a lot. Celine Dion could not speak English at all, and it was not until she took that English language course that she became really famous. I know that Dimash's team has been doing a great job but they really seem to struggle with this matter. They really should hire someone who is a native English speaker and give him or her good money for teaching Dimash a proper pronunciation (and the language as such). I am sure there are Dears out there who could do this job gladly and with great pleasure. If I were a native English speaker I would definitely volunteer myself and I would do it for free provided of course the team would allow me to get in touch with our Prince. Anyways - what Matt said is quite true, believe it or not. English is indeed one of the most difficult languages in the World especially in terms of proper, natural accent. We not always realize this because we are so surrounded by it that it has almost become everyone's second language. I am just saying - if we are dying to hear Dimash singing a James Bond theme we must encourage him to practice every f... day. There is no other way they are going to let him the song.

@@elenaserra8900 I absolutely agree with you! Music is his language! Art doesn't have a language! There are so many different english accents. People from U.K., from U.S.A., from Australia, from South Africa, or from other countries, sound so different, even for us, who are not english native.

@@elenaserra8900 Yeah, but understanding the lyrics is important. He is a real master to share the emotion, but it's from the song, the music... Not really the lyrics. And this is the difference with some one like Lara Fabian who share the emotion with the lyrics too and understand each words, each letters... I love him, but what I don't like is people who think he talk all the language he sing... I'm french (from canada, quebec), and for the song S.O.S, he didn't sing the right lyrics at all. The accent don't really matter, but I really doubt he can handle a real conversation. Even in english... His accent here... I don't care, hes not english. But it's true, Celine Dion start her international career after taking english course. It's better to sing in this language, to do marketing, sell album, interview and so on. I'm a musician (Pianist), and it's true, music is a language like any other language. But if you can tell a story too... It's better.... Just take other song of dimash in his native tongue, the story telling is insane, it's not the same at all. Sometime he don't say the word, or all the letter. He just fly over it and do the sound (that's what he did most of the time of S.O.S). Yes the emotion is there.... But telling a story and the emotion of it is a other thing.
