I've been following Dimash for the best of a year . When I first heard him I was totally amazed and in shock !! He is from Kazakhstan a country that you don't really hear much about. Personally I think he has the world's best vocal skills u can ever hear . If there is someone else show me . Mind blowing!!!

This is an A Capella group, which means no instruments. The tall blond guy is Scott Hoying - Baritone; the girl is Kristin Maldonado, Mezzo-Soprano; the guy with the hat is Mitch Grassi, Counter-Tenor; the bearded guy with the turban is Avi Kaplan, Basso-Profundo; the Beatboxer is Kevin Olusola, Tenor/Cellist/Beatbox Cellist. Scott, Kristin, and Mitch met in high school in Arlington, TX (between Dallas and Ft. Worth). At graduation, they went to different colleges and majored in music. They got back together to compete in a TV music competition called "Sing-Off," but, the show required 5-person groups. So, they added Avi and Kevin through referrals. There is not a "lead singer," they all take turns leading. The video takes place at the California Mojave Desert. Penta is Latin for 5, tonix, is tones...sooo, 5-tones.

I am obsessed with watching the reaction videos of particularly Dimash’s SOS and you are the only one who gives the most sincere reactions and really appreciates and understands what he is actually doing in each phase of the song. ❤ thanks for your reaction 😊 He is from Kazakhstan. He sang in a competition held in China there. He can also sing in more than 7-8 languages.

I discovered Dimash in 2017, but had no one to share with. So glad that others have discovered Dimash and can explain why or how he is so great. On Singer they do not use auto tune, one reason it sounds so pure. Any show from Russia, has to be auto tuned. Love your reactions. I also feel Dimash singing sounds like what Angels sound like.

Originally the song Sinful Passion was written and performed by a very popular pop music group, A-Studio. A Russian-based Kazakh band. Dimash is doing a cover . The piano player here, is an original member of the band. “Sinful Passion” ("Greshnaya Strast” in Russian) was first time performed by the band in 1998.Batyrkhan Kamaluly Shukenov was a singer, musician, composer, and poet. After leaving the group in 2000, Batyrkhan began his solo career. . Unfortunately Batyrkhan Shukenov died at age 52 from a heart attack. I have read the lament (similar to a muslim call to prayer ) Dimash added to the piece is in honour/ memory of him.

As you may probably already known, this is Indonesian music group, and yes they are famous here (in Indonesia). Even Lathi has become trending for innocent-to-evil make up transition on tiktok few years ago. Lathi (means tongue, in Javanese-the largest ethnicity/native in Indonesia; and we have like 1,300 ethnic groups here 😁) is heavily focus on "the sin of a tongue"-be careful with your mouth/words for it can be your success and also your downfall. And every word we say will return back to us. That is the local wisdom being taught in my country. Thanks for the amazing presentation and review. You nailed it. 😁👍 And hello from Jakarta, Indonesia.

From 14:08 to 14:20 where you said you didn’t enjoy and thought Li wasn’t singing and was just making simple soft vocal runs? He was actually singing with lyrics, but he was in his female opera character so he sang it so soft that you didn’t feel like there were any lyrics. The lyrics were “The emperor had 3000 concubines to choose from but he would only pick one of them”. As for the part from 15:54 to 16:22, they were overlapping each other and Li was repeating every line that Dimash sang, exactly the same lyrics, but he did it in a female style that you might not notice that the lyrics sound the same. It’s the same overlapping as California Dreamin done by the mamas and papas. Overall, Li never did any soft vocal runs after the diva dance part, he was singing with lyrics from the beginning to the end, but because he had to be in his female character, he had to go soft to sound like a woman yearning for the guy’s love
