This beautiful song: "SOS d'un terrien en detresse" was written almost 20 years before Dimash was born, but he definitely made it his own. Its authors Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon never knew who they were going to finally compose it for 'cause no one can take it away from this wonderful Kazakh young man any more.

an angel voice .....the king of pop right now

I know some Dears don't like hearing this; but one of the reasons why I prefer this version is that Dimash shows how much he progresses and learns over time. His French here is pronounced much better than in The Singer 2017.

His French is better in the Abu festival performance & The Tokio Jazz performance , go check them out . This one is playback just like the Sochi after party performance and the Uzbekistan performance , they are all the same pre-recorded track .

@@kolgerrard1964 I'm excited because since he's still young, his lower register will continue to develop for many more years. He has a great low voice already but it'll be so cool to see him be able to freely sing low notes whenever he wants, as going low obviously isn't as easy for him as singing higher notes right now (when u compare his live performances with studio recordings). Maybe one day he'll be comfortable with doing everything live :)

I have enjoyed 12 different versions of Dimash of this song. All of them different and each one A M A Z I N G !!!!! Although I must say that this is my favorite.

So the biggest thing to remember is his training and the maturation process of a voice. He has AMAZING skill and technique. He was just starting his public journey when he was noticed on "The Singer". Since then his voice has continued to develop and respond to the demands he is putting on his voice. And since he HAS amazing skill and technique, the voice is growing and developing in a very healthy fashion. The things you picked up in this performance were simply not present when he was on the talent show. He just continues to do the work that makes him as astonishingly good as he is. And, hold on, he is not as good as he will be. So...brace yourself, it gets even better. Oh, and thank you for your very energetic reactions to him...IMHO, he deserves nothing less than all that, and more.

You and Dimash are the same age so hope both of you live long long time till old age with much happiness in your lives. Thanks for the great reaction again.

Hi, Matthew. Love your reaction to this version of Dimash's SOS. This was the same version that I first stumbled upon when another reactor reacted to his amazing voice. This is also my favorite version of this song as well. I was completely mind blown and fell in love with Dimash's pure voice. A bit later, another reactor pointed out that while Dimash was hitting his power note, the camera pulled out to let you see the entire stage, audience and the city behind it, and he had his microphone almost 2 feet away from his lips... you can hear the resonance of his voice just go through the entire place/city. His voice give you goosebumps, chills and it goes right through to your soul. Ever since that day, I have been listening to Dimash every single day. Keep listening.

This song is absolutely beautiful by Dimash... it’s hard for me to describe its beauty with words, I suppose it’s more of a feeling when you hear his angelic voice. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world Dimash and thank you for this reaction Matthew 😊

@@kuhlengesi3333 part of the reason is because it was live at the singer... I appreciate the Slavic bazaar performance a lot but the studio version was used there, so it makes sense for it to not feel "raw". Anyways, tbh the Slavic bazaar feels more epic to me, the vocals were so crisp there 😂

I cry every time during the Singer performance of this song. I don't know if it's because it was the first time I heard Dimash, but there's something special about that performance. The belt towards the end is much more powerful than here, and being a rock and roll girl, that just makes me soar. But hey, I'll listen to him sing this in any venue for any reason.

I prefer his first performance of SOS on The Singer Show. Added to Dimashs flawless performance I enjoy watching the reactions of fellow competitors and the audience has that shock value shared by those watching Dimash for the first time. Also, Autumn Strong on the show the best as well.

Yes you can tell someone 'really good' and probably expensive is dressing him......I watched a video of them making that jacket ---white with black vines--- and it was obviously hand sewn...he wore it at the New York concert and Across Endless Dimensions He is worth every penny of whatever it costs to dress him...he always looks amazing!!! I also think sometimes of how many manicures he must get as his hands plays such a big part in his singing !!! I just keep coming back to the word AMAZING when I describe him And he deserves every bit of pampering he gets

Подозревать, что это не живой звук, мне не позволяет сказать, тот факт, что в Белоруссии с 2008 года действует закон, запрещающий использование фонограммы. Ну и соответственно совсем другое исполнение песни после Сингера-2017. ПРиведу одно наблюдение. Концерты Димаша в Краснодаре, Екатеринбурге и в Казани. Песня " Война и мир". Фанкам от MoscowDears. Мне нравится исполнение песни в Екатеринбурге. Песня звучит лучше. Начал читать в интернете про этот зал в Екатеринбурге. Оказывается этот зал считается одним из лучших в России.
