As for super vocal boys, they were solo artists who had attended a TV show called The Super Vocal. The show Singer 2019 chose four of them to compete as a group. Dimash came to the show Singer 2019 as a guest and to support the Super Vocal boys. Their performance was really fantastic.

Super Vocal Boys is not an actual band. These three singers were competitors from Super Vocal, a music show that aimed at promoting professional singer-actors from musicals and operas. They were made a group by the producer of Singer 2019 to introduce new music genre into the Singer. The guy next to Dimash is Ayunga 阿云嘎. He's a Chinese Mongol from the same city (Ordos 鄂尔多斯, Inner Mongolia) as Tengri. He's a musical theater actor and singer in China. Ju Hongchuan 鞠红川, the guy on the other side of Dimash, was trained in Bel Canto/opera and is now a songwriter. Cai Chengyu 蔡程昱, the guy on the far right, is a college student who majors in Bel Canto/opera in one of the best conservatories in China. ... which explains why their styles are a bit classical. I highly recommend their previous performances in both Singer and Super Vocal. "There will be one day 总有一天" is from a Chinese musical inspired by an important archaeological discovery in the early 2000s (kzread.info/dash/bejne/qaGAqtGPp5DZh9I.html). Yes，cause the Super Vocal team in Singer2019 mainly sing in Chinese，I‘m worried it is hard for foreigners to understand If you want to know more about these specific three persons I can recommend you to listen to their other performances in Singer2019. @@Mickelina81 Actually the three members singing in Sound of silence formed a temporary group (without group name) in the Super Vocal Show. Each member also grouped with other members to perform duet and trio. After finishing that show, four members (One person left for work reason) were invited to the Singer 2019, and then formed a temporary but formal group called Super Vocal Boys. There may be some confusions and misunderstanding about singers and their group name. Indeed, I feel it is hard to explain clearly...

Dimash really let his inner rock demon out on this one!! He was having so much fun! And was he rockin that outfit or what?!

It's great to see Dimash enjoyed the performance with a group of young men and friends like him to sing their heart out on the stage. Many times when you see Dimash singing with others, even singing with ladies or other performers, you can tell they are just signing together. Maybe because Dimash's voice is too unique, most of the time they are detached. Dimash is always like singing alone. But in this Queen medley, they really sing `together!!`. You can tell, without too much burden to keep the idol manners, Dimash is relaxed and just like a talented young boy having fun and enjoy the stage with friends. How great!! We all love to see that.

Great reaction! Yes, you should watch the Super Vocal finalists performing on Singer 2019. They joined at Episode 5. They came over from Singer Super-Vocals that Hunan TV had going weekly. The target contestants for Super-Vocal are male opera/classical...hence the more formal sound.

I agree Dimash really brought the vibe. I think he just can’t help himself. I sometimes think he is music. His whole body, the emotions in his face and of course his voice, I loved this though. Dimash was his normal incredible self, but he did let the boys shine as well. The harmonies were amazingly on point. You should check out his Duet with Tengri (Swan Goose)and his Duet with Wu Tong( Jasmine) they are 2 of my favourite duets he has done.

As Dimash invited Laure to perform with him in 2017 episode13 ( a tribute to MJ), now he was invited to perform with the SV boys episode13 2019( a tribute to Queen). Love it.

I was shook with that performance! I watched Super Vocal Boys' first performance as Kick-In Singers (as I believe they call the contestants that enter the show later on in a challenge or battle to get a place among the current contestants), and it was so beautiful. They really know how set the mood, and put on a good show, besides the fact that their voices and harmonies are gorgeous. Yes, they always take much more of a classical/opera approach for their performances, however they were clever enough to have Dimash for this tribute, and of course our prince was like the icing of the cake which is always amazing... Anyway, loved your reaction as always Ovela!

You nailed it, Ovela! Dimash brought the “attitude” to this Quartet. He elevated this performance. When it called for Big voice, Big act, Big stage presence - Dimash delivered! The Super Vocal boys are good with their harmonies but Dimash brought Life to this classic Queen medley. Thanks for the fun reaction!

Something you might want to check out from the Super Vocal competition is a cover of the Sound of Silence. Three different singers but pretty cool.

Thanks Ovela. Fully agree with your assessment. These guys are great vocalists, they perform pure classical vocals. They have no experience playing rock songs, but they tried. Dimash attracted them to rock performance and took over the entire load. He worked for the team delicately supporting them with vocals, with his whole body showed a powerful drive in the rock part of the performance. You are right, the guys have no such energy of rock performance. The whole performance was in the Dimash's style at the beginning of a quiet vocal performance, then the transition to rock, the growth of emotional tension and an explosion, the completion of a life-affirming final on a powerful rise. This is Dimash. Bravo!!!! They are the champions! Dimash is the best of the best.

By the way, super vocal boys is a temporary group formed just for singer 2019 and Im actually quite impressed with the harmony when they sing together. Recommend u to watch their performance in singer 2019, especially 心脏 (the heart). Even though a member was having high fever and pneumonia during this performance, their emotions still stunned me and i loved it so much. 大船 ( the big boat) is the most beautiful harmony performance i think they had made on this stage and 鹿be free ( deer be free ), their first song in singer 2019 are also highly recommended to u.
