Hard to tell if this is supposed to be Riley Robinson, or Bart Torgal. Kind mixed them both together, however, the effort put into this is amazing. Finally a good subnautica film. 🙂

okay, this was awesome because it shows the inside of aurora before it explodes and how the lifepods are dropped off

That beginning Aurora part was really something. It felt like an actual movie because of the quality, and i'd love to see a full blown movie about Subnautica one day.

@@DigitalDave unless you get the Subnautica developer team and a very famous film production team (Universal Pictures, MGM, Paramount Pictures or 20th Century Fox) to help you make a movie out of it. Although this requires a lot of economic resources and persuasive communication to make that happen.

When the busget is low, but not your iq: *uses yourself for every role*

100% cannon, I love it. It put some Visage, on those characters that we met throught the PDA. About the main character, he's older than that but that's OK, too bad that we don't have more informations about our character in the first subnautica.

The models for the animation of the aurora is almost perfect! This is such a great fan film with lots of dedication put into it. Absolutely loved this!

Slow-Clap! Truly a job well done. Just the right number of call-backs, creatively impressive effects and sound-effects & music that are so well done they are barely noticeable (in a good way).

Me: sees the brothers spitminto different life pods. Also me: bu- but, they have two seats. Naw but really, his is amazing it's shoving how much a channel with only 400 subs can make some of the coolest stuff I've ever seen, plus subnautica is my favorite game :) BTW +1 sub

yep unknown worlds did an epic job and so I based my film right off the trailers

The metal that hit him in the lifepod looked like a piston was activated in Minecraft and it hit him😂. BTW impressive video.

legit got tingles watching this, its really impressive for a low budget short movie. keep up the good work!

From most perspectives this is very impressive. I am genuinely impressed with this video. I can see the dedication that went into the editing filming and special effects. I hope to see more great content like this in the future.

Really mate? The story is so wacky and weird. First of all the Aurora had not already built the warp gate when the crash happened, they didn’t enter the atmosphere before being shot down. They never planned to enter the atmosphere. They misnamed the planet it’s not 45B it’s 4546B. There was only supposed to be a gravity slingshot to save fuel on the way there. And they used multiple quotes from the Degasi crew

@@DigitalDave well , it kinda looks like the Scanner , if it had an Alterra Stile PaintJob it could look like an Scanner and with an Front grip , No mag and Long barrel it looks just like the Laser Cutter
