It's one of extremely few games that would actually work as a movie. as the gameplay is just exploration, and not getting eaten by something the size of an average jumbo jet.

In the second Subnautica trailer you showed, at start there is a running sequence, that i think is in the descending Aurora. It would be so epic, if it would be in game

@@Alsina_arnele I think what Dr. Albitros meant was that it was made to look like the evacuation of the Aurora as it descends. This _is_ from a _Gameplay_ trailer, not a cinematic trailer, after all. Thus it was made as a machinima rather than an animation.

At 5:11, did that leviathan just stare at Fred?! I know that in the game he doesn’t move, as well as his eyes, but at that very moment, that specific scene, just adds more horror, pressure, excitement and epic-ness to the moment and I love it!

@Balu27 Technically yes, it is in a hibernating state (not sure if its canon) because well the Kharaa bacterium needs blood to stay alive and *spoilers* when you cure it, I'm pretty aure the other Kharaa spores disappear which further show that the blood is still circulating I can't remember as I just skipped that side storyline and it was tedious with the stupid pengling and I would have to just use an interactive map to find it all... even then the blizzards and constant cold with be so annoying that I'd give up

So happy to have experienced this game through the process of being created. Such a wonderful lil game made by one of my favorite game devs

I love how the trailers went from unknown worlds to explore, you’re all alone you gotta survive, to not the neighbors Craig fish again 😂

I really hope we get 4 Subnauticas in total. I hope the next one is a prequel with us playing as Bart, and the last one finishes the game with a sequel to below zero. I can’t wait

@@Aidansstuff_ Yeah, he's definitely dead. The base wouldn't have decayed otherwise. I think the only reason we didn't find the decayed base is because it was destroyed when the Aurora crashlanded. A piece of the Aurora broke away on the descent and annihilated it. It's likely where Wreck 2 is, as it's right next to the safe shallows and would be the ideal place to see the Aurora crash like it did in the trailer. It would also explain the corrupted PDA at that location, it contains the final final words of Bart but was damaged in the impact.

It is really cool how much effort and time have been put in to make this amazing game and all the famous KZreadrs on their to

"the crash feels like so long ago" *cheerful music intensifies

This game is truly magical to me. I typically have a pretty jittery sense of ADHD, and I typically can’t sit still for extended periods of time doing any single thing unless I have to, like for work or college, or I want to. I’ll fire up this game, then next thing I know, Steam is telling me my current session is at 342 minutes.

That and subnautica (not below 0) trailer was SO GOOD

I really recommend this game as is one of the greatest survival games and the last one

i'm wondering if a 3rd game would even take place on the same planet. all that's really left is the void sea, so maybe we'd get to see what lies below in the deepest regions of the planet. i do hope we get to see what happens after below zero, though.

There is a corrupted PDA by the crash site that's Paul's log. Best guess is that the crash site was part of the shallows and maybe, because of all the reapers near the wreck, a second dune biome till aurora made impact with the sea floor and wiped out almost all the flora and fauna in the vicinity

Nonono. So they originally lived on the island. But conditions were worsening and materials dissipating so they went yo jellyshroom. Then they got sick akd wanted to go deeper to find a potential cure. Then they all had a fight. And Bart swam to the surface suspecting his dad and Margaret dead. Then he built his final base in the shallows where the aurora crashed onto it long after his death. There's a great video going over it
