Is it possible to get a "secret" ending? I've yet to findout but if anything was possible to cause it, It'd be the infected peepers in your inventory. I suppose it COULD be possible to be infected and "cure" yourself if you get enough peepers with the cure infused into them? Let me know your thoughts!

Fun fact: there WAS a planned one where what you tried here would come to pass, taking off and escaping whilst infected, leading into the events of the devs’ other game, Natural Selection. It’s known as the ‘Cave Crawler’ ending and was never implemented due to the devs thinking it was too dark.

Here's how it works: If the player has gotten to infection stage 5 (cured) then it'll allow the player to disable the quarantine enforcement platform. He set himself to 5 then set it back to 4, meaning it went to 5 and the game registers the player as cured, even though they are not anymore.

there is no secret ending at the moment, but the reason you disabled the gun is you used a command to bypass all the progress needed which in terms has a high probability to mess with the engines scripts therefore breaking the games line of code. with out the codes line of thinking it doesn't recognise you having the infection.

so you seem so surprised it lets you leave, but normally you cant be infected and disable the QEP, and without that disabled you can't launch. You can't break the game and say it's an alternate ending.

And the answer is... the Neptune A.I. realises your ship would be blown up and wasted, and therefore doesn't let you launch without disabling the G.U.N. Thank me later.

I'm sorry, but what difference does the question mark make? "Subnautica's BAD Ending!? - Launching The Rocket While INFECTED! The Gun Is Still ON!" makes it sound like he found an actual, hidden ending that was created by the developers. That is not the case, he just glitched the game. That is ending is not canon, you cannot launch the rocket when the gun is still active, you will get a message saying just that and you cannot turn off the gun whilst you're infected (Unless you glitch it with commands like he did). That title is just misleading as hell. It should be something like "Glitched the game, left the planet while infected" or "Trying to find a secret ending". Plus in both cases the gun was turned off, so that part of the title was just a lie. Also it's not very polite to insult people for speaking thair mind Carter.

Your list of goals at the start of the episode reminds me of how my own mind works when I try to look for secrets, alternative endings, glitches, and easter eggs in a game I'm really into trying to 100% complete every corner of. He even said it like it was something that the developers intended for people to find, which I'm sure they didn't. "Subnautica's... ending" insinuating that this is something Subnautica has, or that it has more than one ending. Not only is this misinforming anyone who watches, it's making someone think "Wait, if there IS a bad ending, he must be showing at least PART of it". Maybe that's not what he intended, but adding a thumbnail SHOWING something that never happens and would be the only reason that irregular watchers would click on is EXACTLY clickbait. It's like saying "OMG HE DIED?!" while showing the thumbnail of a person lying on the ground with his face blurred out, while in the video the person just walks around vlogging or doing whatever, and then near the end they find a person who fell asleep or someone in their family who was just fooling around and playing dead, which lasts 2 minutes and should not have been advertised as "having died".

The rocket ripped the platform out of the ground, shunted it along to Alterra, where it then fell from orbit and destroyed some snobby executive's car.

you didnt break it, the values in the debugger for the cure are 1-5 not 0-5, this means that the player essentially starts with an infection level of 1 form the start, the scanner just can't pick it up since the infection is not in its database, it later recognises symptoms and realises you are sick. A value of 5 in the debugger represents you having achieved the last possible stage of infection through the story line - ie. you are cured. So the blisters and sores don't go away and the scanner wont show you are cures, but as far as the rest of the game is concerned, you are cured. Your theory about this outbreak leading to the Natural selection series is amazing though and to be fair the infection might be able to latch onto fabrics and such and the cured individual could carry it with them i suppose since everything in your base and vehicles would be contaminated even though you disinfected near the sea emperor. Lots of ins and out but as for this video, infection 5 CURES the player, it doesn't give you the most severe form of the infection, it gives you the last possible form of the infection which is the cure. TL:DR infection 5 in the debugger cures the player but the symptoms and scanner do not show this

There are 2 possibilities for sunbeam event trigger...1st being sunbeam getting shot down and 2nd is getting cured before answering radio call for sunbeam and when you answer the radio, they will say due to huge amount of debri field from auroraz they cant come to rescue

"Subnautica's BAD Ending!? - Launching The Rocket While INFECTED! The Gun Is Still ON! - Full Release" Makes you think that the video WILL show a bad ending. A better title would probably be "Can You Launch the Rocket While Infected With the Gun On?-Subnautica Full Release" Imo

The reason why the Sunbeam didn't get out in time and he only flew the ship in VR and he blew it please tell others and a future video and please read this comment

They could have created another scene for the rocket event. If this was a Unity3D game then that's how it works, but my feeling is that the ending really isn't that major to do any corrections to the flaw you found. There's really nothing that important going on past the rocket launch scene. I'd actually compare this to the Minecraft ending. I think most of the fun is in the game itself which I think is great. Being able to build ships and explore the area of the ocean.

He didn't find a flaw. He used console/cheatcommands to build it. In the normal game this would never happen.

Imagine putting a infected peeper in the time capsule then taking taking picture of your infected hand, the message would be like . A random player finds it and get infected.🤣🤣🤣

about the rocket "carrying" the platform to space with it, its a programming technique. The rocket isnt really moving when it launches, the scene around it is created and moves through the rocket to create the impression of the rocket taking off. Probably there isnt any phisycs programmed into the game to make the rocket launch, so its easier to do it that way.

Anthomnia try to fill your rocket with diamond and see if you can pay your trillion credit debt

I'm pretty sure it's everything you build from Alterra technology on the planet is what you owe. So all the base, tools, seamoth, seamoth, cyclops, prawn suit, the rocket ship. That all is Alterra tech you build and therefore you owe them back money for "buying" it, like buying a car kinda. They don't take into consideration that you found the resources yourself and crafted the technology yourself, but that you have it and used it. At least that's how I see them charging you a trillion credits when you return.

Like people before me said, it all belongs to Alterra... But... I have the feeling the proposed Arctic DLC the devs want to make will have something to do with said debt. They're probably gonna have Alterra ask the player to go back and colonize a completely different type of area (meaning the arctic area) to pay off the debt. Hey, if he made it the first time as a sole survivor with a corrupted databank, odds are he'd make it a second time.

I think the Arctic dlc is really only going to add an Arctic biome with new plants and creatures that are well adapted to that cold climate. Maybe some lifepods we haven't seen before yet. But I dont think it's going to add much more story to it than that.

you're not infected, it's a glitch with visuals! Oh my God, learn something about code! I'm sorry, but seriously understand when something visual glitches, don't estimate it has to be on purpose. and in the rocket animation, ITS AN ANIMATON!!!! it uses the current player model live, not a cut scene. that explains why your hands are 'infected'. please either pin this so people know, or aknowlage this in your next video. the least you can do is just read this.

the thing with those platfroms on your space ship is because the animation is loaded only on the screen you see ( i mean the windows in neptune) so you will be able to see those

You can't launch the rocket with the gun active your game glitched and allowed you to disable the gun whilst infected

I believe you! BTW The Arctic DLC is probably a prequel, we saw in the cinematic trailer that there were humans that existed before the Aurora, maybe it's the same guy from the Aurora. Aside from that I think the arctic biome is another "prison." And you and me both know what the precursors would be hiding in there....... **X-Files Theme starts playing in background**

I remember seeing this game get played for like 4 seconds on KZread like 3 or 4 years ago and I got scared and clicked off because it said horror in the title card and there is so much just nostalgia in this game wishing you could get those first few moments that you got playing the game back I loved this game sooooo much and idk I hope you understand but I just thought this game was great and my first play through I had no idea what was happening.

It would be less clickbaity if you didn't call it "BAD ENDING" It wasn't an ending. It's simply a bug. :0

Btw when you get a virus or get infected by a bacterium you usually build immunities to that strain. Es, there probably are multiple strains but strains all have many things in common so enzyme 42 could cancel out all negative effects in most of the strains sooo yea.

Where was the quality? All I saw was CLICKBAIT.
