I would have done the opposite and custom wrapped the silver trim and kept the carbon trim as is. That guy must be odd.

Did my first wrap job with a couple pieces inside my car and turned out pretty great, baby steps to wrapping the whole car.

I wrapped 2 small details on my Scooter (in gloss black) - after 5 months one of the areas wrinkled really bad... then I noticed I’d forgotten to remove the cap! 😬 Peeled back the cap and the wrap beneath was as good as can be 😁

I love your talent and skill, but anybody wrapping CF with chrome vinyl just makes my head hurt. On an Audi too. Maybe on a 1990's buick century with Autozone accessories or something.

amazing work. I took off my radio plastic panels in a 17 Lexus GX 460 and tried to wrap over it with 3m 1080 matte black. Holly crap I wasted so much film and gave up. Watching you work with pieces on the car is awesome.

Thank you. I was looking on ebay for dash kits. The ones that get installed with like 3M tape. Then watched some vids to see how they look installed then decided maybe Id see about just having it wrapped. If I do I'll get it professionally done but i wanted to see the process. Im happy knowing and seeing a professionally can do it without removing all the dash etc

70% iso took the finish right of my 8th gen civics shifter trim. At least its corona free I guess. So here i Am learning to wrap interiors. Got carried away and did my bike helmet visor too hahaha

been watching CK for years now enjoy his work, I got the vivid carbon gloss to wrap my S6 2007 cluster after watching CK ut it on the tesla. I had trouble with the film sticking and corners ... can you please recommend a film that's good for the interior and thin and sticky and holds shape

Many reviews complain about the Vinyl being shipped scratched, with photos. I wanted to order the interior vinyl but I'm apprehensive now.

Love idea. But hows that interior on a sunny day? Feel like its be reflective and make that inside of thw car warm or maybe melt plastic.

Not sure what the hate of chrome inside is. A blue mirror grafted to the dash is instant lady happiness. Plus it's clean looking and gives a blue glow. And p.s. AutoZone doesn't carry $3,000 chrome vinyl 😂

Do you think if you wrapped this today in 2020 that you would use knife-less tape? I just don't see how you can cut on a surface without damaging the substrate material. On an exotic car that could be a really expensive repair.

How do you not scratch the paint when you cut on the edges.. you glide down the seam & I guess the point tip actually never touches ?? Did I just answer 🤔 my own ?

When you have a car with glossy interior,wrap it with carbon fiber,when have carbon fiber interior,wrap with crome. Human never ever satisfied

Why wouldn’t you want to remove the trim piece then wrap it? I’m going to attempt to do something similar to this and I’m curious. Is it just as good when you don’t remove the trim??

He’s just that good 😂 Plus you risk breaking clips which would be costly to replace. German vehicle trim piece clips are always super tight and nearly impossible to remove certain pieces

Whats the reason you dont remove the trims and then wrap them. I started to wrap my interior trims in my car trying to practise and learn but I remove the trims and wrap them. Any suggestions I guess you dont want to be wasting time on small jobs like that. Thanks in Advance
