What about heat absorption ? Which one is the best ?
If the composite is cut, does the cut end need to be sealed with something ?

No. If they say it does, be ware of the product. Armadillo used to require it, I don't know if they still do. But they required it because their boards would swell on the ends. So that's a sign of a product issue. You can however, get option end cut paint for aesthetic reasons, but definitely not required.
