The 5th Circuit three judge panel just sided with the ATF and threw out the Texas Suppressor Freedom lawsuit. A lot of people believed that this lawsuit was the path to getting suppressors deregulated nationally and removed from the NFA, so this is not good news, at all, but is the fight over? I think not. What do I recommend to people who were waiting on this case before buying a suppressor? Well, buy a suppressor. The best time to get a suppressor is yesterday. That is supposed to be true, but they've been taxing us for the right to own suppressors and SBRs for many years.

If Texas decided to, literally, make state law, staing all TX suppressors are "primarily" made and, then, stay in Texas, then ATF tries to arrest, takes property, even if no prison time, could allow standing, but no guarantee... won't go to prison. I agree with you that purchasing, through "legit" current UnConstitution laws, proably safest and they will be removed, especially given Chevron Deference Abuse rulings, as well. Good one!✌🏼

Yep.
I said screw a few years back and just started buying them. And when they shortened the wait times, i just started buying more. They are never just going to give it up its going to be a while. So if theu get removed from being registered so be it. I payed tax on the ones i have. Ill jist keep supporting the groups that are fighting it and vote for the ones trying to remove them.

This is true, but unfortunately, to have standing, it would seem the court wants you to be injured by the law by being punished because of it.
I gave up and went through a lot of hoops and paperwork to get one.

Maybe so, but I'm not holding my breath. If Congress actually got their act together and got it done and we had a conservative President, maybe we could finally get rid of the NFA, but they never introduce legislation like that when they could actually get it passed, unfortunately.

@@sawtoothtactical404 I learned that their “case studies” never seem to become to get the freedom suppressor stuff passed. I sense corruption at the highest levels. I have even seen past internet articles where these big Government agencies are messing with our suppressor freedom legislation as it never passes the subcommittee.
