05:24 Linus may laugh at those earphones, but those are Koss KSC75, one of even audiophiles' secret loves. Those, and the related KPH30i give you A LOT of sound quality for very cheap, even though they look like you peeled them straight from an 80s knock-off walkman. Plus, if I am correct, right next to them is a Fiio BTR5, a bluetooth-/USB DAC-headphone amp combo unit - allowing you to take any wired headphones on the go. Incidentally, I rock the exact same audio setup -- I just switch around which headphones I use every day, but the BTR5 is a constant companion. It even drives my 300 ohm Sennheiser headphones flawlessly, but I am loathe to take the large ones out on the road.

I have a sort of adjacent setup - Koss Porta Pro instead of KSC75 & Shanling UP4 instead of Fiio BTR5 and for the price it's amazing I do have some planars that I prefer the sound of but always end up back with Koss due to the light weight.. only headphones I've ever had that sound good and don't give me a headache after a while

My circa 2009 setup is right up there for me, with about four PCs but no knowledge of a KVM switch so each just had a keyboard and mouse sitting on top and then a whole bunch of screens in different sizes, aspect ratios and colours on the desk, including one with a replacement stand I'd made using a CNC router and some blocks of wood then spraypainted to match the beige. Oh, and a dual Pentium II server board with no associated case shoved somewhere at the back of the desk doing server duties. The other one that was properly janky was my "compact" university setup which was literally a random laptop thrown in a drawer with cables spewing out the top and then an attached keyboard, mouse, and monitors on the desk above.

My dad got a bunch of custom made desks from a local welder and got a construction worker to prep a nice thick plywood to mount on top of it. The desks are very sturdy and spacious enough, but with my laptop and wanting to read or write books the depth of the desk wasn't enough, and reaching over the books was getting annoying, so I made a pull out try as wide as the width of the desk legs with a nice double roller rails, I think it was about 80cm*40cm (with similar thickness of plywood that is used on the desk, which is about an inch), so I put my keyboard there, and the mouse can go as much as my mouse pad. TL:DR: very big pull out tray for keyboard and mouse.
