    I saw the thumbnail - looked at the names and thought "huh...that's exactly the same names of the guys I was on that live stream with, what are the odds" ...then I realized it was Islamic Origins and it WAS the live stream 🤣 Loved the thumbnail, even if it took me a few seconds to get it

    Given St John of Damascus’s writing on the subject I think he viewed these ‘scriptures’ as just more in the long line of nonsense Gnostic texts that kept cropping up over the centuries. Only these ones were collated into their own new book rather than trying to get into the Bible. Some filler stories were needed in that process which is why all this borrowing and plagiarism happened. That’s how I see it at the moment.

    of course it did! Among many sources identified in the Quran are Christian Syriac hymns from the 4th, 5th and 6th centuries. The authors would poorly translate them from Syriac to Arabic and transpose them: Jesus became Mohamed and God the Father became Allah. Poor translation is partly why 25% of the Quran makes no sense. Islam is a scam.

    Mel, it is interesting that the word fruit in Syriac carries two meanings. From where I’m from, we have the same thing too. In the Malay language, nieces & nephews are referred to as (literal translation) “fruit child/children”.

    Funny how Islam symbol goes back to the Greeks Moon goddess Selene. In ancient Greek mythology, Selene, is the Titan goddess of the moon and is said to drive her glowing chariot powered by beautiful white horses across the sky each night. Her list of powers are unmatched, as far as lunar goddesses go. Hmm Mohammad Road on a horse, see the pattern. Selene is commonly depicted with a crescent moon, often accompanied by stars; sometimes, instead of a crescent, a lunar disc is used. Often a crescent moon rests on her brow, or the cusps of a crescent moon protrude, horn-like, from her head, or from behind her head or shoulders. Same shape Islam symbol above there mosque. Also 2 horn one in Alexsandra the great mentions 2 horn one, then you have lots of 3 daughters going back in history to do with Allah, strange the 3 stages of the moon are what it refers too, worshiped as one of the important celestial lights of the heavens, Selene was also reputedly revered as a deity of agriculture and fertility. Quran talks about Allah fertilizing the earth. Join the dots, I believe the sundial in Mecca with the Moon in the middle (Kaaba) covered in a burka in black and gold is the deity Selene the most powerful moon goddess. Hence the gold as she is a higher deity, funny not even Islamic but from the Greeks. It's too much of a coincidence... GBU Mel and team.

    Mel, could you or someone of you, can research the names of JAMES and SANTIAGO, in the new testament which is the same apostle but the church says nothing about it. Which name is the original one?

    Lloyd De Jongh covered this once. James the Greater and James the Less were both known as Jacob in their own time. They were given the name James by William Tyndale in his early English translation and that stuck. Santiago mean Saint Jacob in the Spanish translation.

    @@centurysince4312 My believe is that the name James was imposed in the King James version Bible and Santiago was changed in Spain while the church for "James" was built in Compostela Spain. But it would be nice if someone goes deeper and uncovers something I ignore.

    @@IslamicOriginsThe importance of the EL CAMINO DE SANTIAGO is important because it was the wall that Islam NEVER penetrated. It was the area were the Christians began the "reconquista" of Spain. But, how they change the name is very strange. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camino_de_Santiago

    Both "James" and "Tiago" ultimately come from the Hebrew "Yaqob" but processed through different languages like French, Spanish and Italian. It's "Jacques" in French and "Giacomo" in Italian. "Diego" is another hispanic version of it or "Tiago". How "Yaqob" ended up being "James" is a long story but compare it with "John" and "Jean" which ultimately come from Hebrew "Jochanan". Johann/Hans in German!

    Mel: If you really get into conspiracy theories, you should question how Hamas was founded (with Israeli money, against Fatah), and how Hamas can get into Israel (with open wall for hours intentionally), and how much money the the people who made two wars got (millions of Jews are moving to Ukraine, the best agricultural land in the world)... Or are they just theories?

    So easy to refute this rubbish. Dhul Qarnayn is not Alexander the Great. there, didn't take long. he's based all this rubbish on speculation. S what if there's ONE english translator who said Dhul Qarnayn is Alexander the Great. Also, in Arabic, Dhul Qarnayn has 2 meanings: 1) 2 horns 2) 2 periods.

  • @samuelmorales2344

    @samuelmorales2344

    Dhul Qarnayn means the "two-horned one" and yes the story mirrors almost exactly as Alexander Romance stories that were passed around in the 7th century. The Qur'an is a collection of heretical traditions, not directly scripture in certain areas but church activities.

    Oh, right, thanks for settling that then. Too bad, you haven't actually refuted anything. So, all those pre-existing sources were just made up by these guys? As I have read a few of them, including the Protoevangelion of James, I'd say that you had better do some more homework before you come back here.
